Friday Fun Day and the Giveaway

Friday, February 17, 2012
Hi Everyone,

I just put the shop in Vacation mode but I am not taking a vacation :) I am working on the new website and getting some much needed organization done. So those are my plans for the weekend.... what about you? Do you have anything fun going on for the Holiday weekend?

I am giving away two charm packs of A Walk In The Woods this week. I always feel like you need at least two to make anything...

Aren't they cute? So here is how you enter... Leave me a comment telling me what fabric collection you would bring back if you could. You may not say Neptune (because don't we all?) or Flea Market Fancy (it has been done :) ) so anything but those two... The giveaway runs until midnight 2/24/12.

Go forth and have a lovely weekend... you will see me back here tomorrow with the winner of last week's giveaway.

  5. I'm pretty new to sewing so I've been belatedly discovering all kinds of lovely fabrics that I was too late for! Seem like I've missed out on a lot of great Heather Ross.

  6. You ARE right! You do need at least two charm packs to make something worthwhile. I would love to see the first line of French General come back. I loved the beautiful reds.

  7. Well I guess it isn't really bringing back a collection, because I don't think it ever existed as a collection. But if someone would put out a collection of everything Heather Ross has done for Munki Munki, that would be awesome!

  18. When I first started quilting Robyn Pandolph had these wonderful fabrics that i think were called Folk Art Wedding. I wish I had got my hands on the yellow one. They just had the most lucious red flowers on them. That was when Robyn pandolph designed for Moda and I had no idea what designer fabrics were.

  41. I am too knew at sewing with names to lines of fabrics. I would only go to the fabric store and put together what fabrics I liked to know what ones have been discontinued. I am now learning the lines thanks to all of the wonderful blogs that I have been reading.

    Thank you.
