Hi Everyone!

How was your weekend? I was pretty busy. The hubby got home from Canada last night...thank heaven... I missed him! Here is what I finished up on Saturday during the Project Runway Marathon:

Then yesterday I wrote a tutorial for the newsletter on an easy way to make butterfly blocks. Have you seen these all over the net? Like Rita's here I adore that quilt. There is just no way I can spend that kind of time on those blocks though, so I decided to come up with a fast easy way to make something similar. So I did a normal one and a wonky one for fun...

Friday Fun Day ... and Two Giveaways

Oh my goodness I haven't blogged since Monday... eep! It took me until Wednesday to get all of the sale orders cut (that is the longest it has taken me to recover from a sale) then my mom was here yesterday so I just didn't have time. I hope you all had an awesome week.

Today I am offering my favorite Christmas collection for a giveaway. I wish you guys could see this in person I think it is so pretty. I love non-traditional Christmas fabric:

Well there was some weird coding in my sale post the other day. I actually had to fix it in the HTML to get it to work for you all. It worked fine for me but I think it had something to do with my log in.... anyway... I am super crazy with the sale but I wanted to show this terrible picture of the two quilts I finished last week... I had to take the picture at 5 AM on Friday before my hubby took off with them to Canada.

I made the simple DS9 out of Coquette charm packs because the yardage wasn't here yet. Then I bordered it with Pretty Little Things. The blue quilt is Wrenly of course I happened to have stashed some small left over pieces of it.The baby quilt went with the bunting for my Sister in Law and and the Wrenly quilt was a Birthday present for my Mother In Law.

Gotta get to work but I hope you all have a lovely week!

2. Please be patient.. my shipping department is in Canada for his sisters wedding so that is another thing added to my list of duties... I will cut and ship everything in the order that it is received but it might take me one or two days longer than usual.

3. Please read any email I sand that has "About your order" in the title it in case I have run out of something that you ordered and I need your input

Hi Everyone,

Eskimo Pie Flannel, Coquette, Down Under and the rest of the Kona Modern Quilts prints that I ordered came today... Also an update on the most anticipated... Bella now says September (update: just talked to my rep and it will be here in August after all) whoop!  Madrona Road will be here soon they were holding my order because three of the bolts are back ordered I told them to send it and send the other bolts when they come, in two weeks. Field Study and Chickopee should be here in 2 weeks and so should all of the Kokka.
