ReplyDeleteI love all of Camille's patterns! So fun and lend themselves well to a variety of fabrics :)
ReplyDeleteI like a lot of the Thimble blossom patterns, but have never actually followed a pattern for a quilt. Maybe it's "last year", but I'd still like to make a swoon quilt.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winner and thank you for hosting. I don't have a specific designer as I like to design myself - koodos to those who publish.
ReplyDeleteFor the longest time any time I had to make a quick quilt I used the Yellow Brick Road pattern by Terry Atkinson as it was a quick and easy pattern to make. I also love Kimberly Einmo's patterns. They too are easy to follow.
ReplyDeleteI have my go to designers. Tula Pink, Pat Bravo, Kate Spain, Anna Maria Horner, Joel Dewberry and I love Coquette by Chez Moi. Mostly I love their colors and the richness of their designs. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Fig Tree Quilts for their versatility.

ReplyDeleteJust in case you were asking about fabric designers (not pattern), I don't have a favorite among them either. I have been collecting Debbie Mumm Halloween fabrics over the years though.
Thank you for a chance to win. :-)
There are alot of wonderful designers. I have always loved Cluck Cluck Sew - maybe because of the clean lines!

ReplyDeleteI have been designing a lot on mt eq 7, I have liked some of Tula pinks material and I bought her book for a pattern my daughter liked,

ReplyDeleteI don't know enough pattern designers yet as I'm a newbie, but I do love Amanda Herring's lines.
ReplyDeleteI am not big on buying patterns but I just bought one after about 15 years, it is 3 Infinity Scarves by Making Rebecca Lynne. I just made one and blogged about it here: http://www.intheboondocks.blogspot.com/2012/10/infinity-scarves.html
ReplyDeleteSo funny to be asked that question today must be fate.
Pretty bundle! I have quite a few Thumble Blossom patterns (by Camille) and I would say Cluck Cluck Sew's are a close second. Although I love the look of Fig Tree patterns (and I have a few) I find the instructions/fabric requirements confusing. Camille and Allison are straight forward. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winner!!

ReplyDeleteI love Camille from Thimble Blossoms.
ReplyDeleteShe has the best patterns and fabric!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I love to see the creativity of people who post tutorials online!
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a favorite pattern designer. I only have a few patterns and those were all given to me as gifts.
ReplyDeleteThere are several, but Jaybird Quilts and Cluck, Cluck Sew are a couple of my favorites. I think I like them a lot because they are so contemporary and fresh without being too complicated.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Karen!
I love Crazy Mom Quilts' patterns. She is just so great when it comes to scrappy happy patterns. I seriously love these fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI like Camille Roskelley's patterns. I appreciate their clarity and especially like that she provides cutting diagrams to show how to get the right pieces out of certain cuts of fabric, and warns whether there will be very little room for error.
ReplyDeleteI love Camille Roskelly...Swoon and Spools are my favorites of hers. I love Crazy Mom. Seriously, I'd follow that woman anywhere quilty. And I also have a couple of V and Co. that I love too. I don't buy many patterns but these ladies are my favorites.

Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs is one of my favorite pattern designers.
ReplyDeletecongrats to the winner.
I don't have a favorite designer, I like too many of them to be able to pick a favorite! What I look for in a pattern is ease of assembly, clear and concise instructions, and if the sample is shown in delicious fabrics, so much the better. :) Thank you for the lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHow have I not seen that line before? I must be avoiding your coming soon page to save money :o
ReplyDeleteMy favorite designers - odd how they've changed so much in the last year - my recent bundle purchases instead of single print purchases says it all - Pat Bravo and Dena Designs for their bold bright designs, totally different from each other, but I love the bright cheery AND the bright funky...guess that means its obvious Tula Pink is also in my top three...
I like It's Sew Emma because they are traditional quilts. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy patterns by Atkinson Designs, Carrie's Miss Rosie designs, and Jaybird designs! I really purchase patterns by a variety of designers....but I own more of these ladies' patterns than any other designers!
ReplyDeleteThe fabric for your giveaway is so cheerful and fun!
My fave bag/clutch type patterns are from Michelle's Patterns, formerly Keyka Lou. She's got a variety of styles, her PDF's are clear with lots of pictures, her instructions are concise and I learn a lot from her. To top it off she provides hints, tips, and ideas of other ways to do things with the pattern in her blog. Fave quilt patterns are American Jane. They're neat designs to play with fabric and patterns. I'd love to get Kim McLeans patterns but they're out of my financial zone.
ReplyDeleteRiley Blake, for the florals in Black and white
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite designer, I am a too much green quilter, I really am at my first steps.
ReplyDeleteBut I can say I like flowers so much and bright colors
I have really only checked out Robert Kaufman patterns, mainly because I love his fabric selections, and I like downloadable patterns! Still need to branch out more.....but pretty new to quilting! :)
ReplyDeleteSo many fabulous fabric designers, how do you pick just one? Jennifer Paganelli, Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, Heather Bailey...and the list goes on.
ReplyDeleteDeborah

Are we talking about fabric designers or sewing pattern designers?
ReplyDeleteFor fabric I like Tula Pink, I think her designs are very fun and creative.
For the patterns I have actually only used a couple. One was Amy Butler, and the other was by Emmaline Handbags. Both were great for a beginner like myself and very pic heavy which I love. :)
I'm not using a lot of patterns these days, although I have the Oliver +S toddler backpack cut out and waiting...and several of the patterns in that book are on my to-do list.

ReplyDeleteI don't know who my favourite is but I just bought Tula Pinks new book and I love Jaybird quilts Jawbreaker pillow that I made from her pattern.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabrics :)
So far the only patterns I've used are by Camille Roskelly. Though I long to make one, I haven't yet tried her Swoon pattern.
ReplyDeleteI also love Denyse Schmidt patterns but have yet to try one. I have her recent book so it won't be long. And I've admired all the Single Girl quilts out there.
I also have a new book by Elizabeth Hartman and am keen to try some of her eager, understated looking quilt designs.
And oh ... Anna Maria Horner. I want to make some of her quilt designs, too.

ReplyDeleteI love Camille's patterns and Jaybird. Beautiful collection of fabric!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite designers is Bunny Hill. Just precious designs!! Be especially blessed, Kathy

ReplyDeleteI tend to improvise, but I love to drool over Jaybird. And Wendy Gratz has some very fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty bundle of fabrics! I have lots of favorite designers, but my current favorite is Michelle's Patterns (formerly known as KeykaLou). Her purse patterns are great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bundle. I don't buy a lot of patterns but do have some by Camille Roskelley and some by Julie Hermann.
ReplyDeleteI love so many pattern designers. I love the look of Amy Butler's projects and I love working with Cluck Cluck Sew patterns.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics! I've purchased patterns from both Bonnie and Camille. Love their patterns! Thank you for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite designers are Thimbleblossoms and Cluck Cluck Sew. Both of these designers have patterns where they are versatile and show off great fabric!
ReplyDeleteI love Jamie Elfert's patterns - she blogs at L'Fair Quilts. her quilts always have such cute little pinwheels in them, and are very well designed. Then I always love quilt designs by Elizabeth Hartmann and AmandaJean Nyfert - practical, easy, modern, and so great for scraps, especially Amanda Jean's!
ReplyDeleteI like Julie Herman's patterns. I like her fun shapes and the fact that she includes so many size options.
ReplyDeleteI don't use quilt patterns (I like to make up my own), but it I had to choose I'd say that I like the look of Cluck, Cluck, Sew's patterns.
ReplyDeleteWow, hard question! Here are a few of my favorites, in no particular order:
ReplyDeleteThimble Blossom: They are a neat take on classic patterns done in a more up to date way
Jaybird Quilts: They are just so much fun! I am a sucker for new tools too, and her patterns usually have one to go with them
Fig Tree quilts: They are so soft and I love that she uses both applique and piecing in some of her patterns.
Thanks!
Sandy A
Jillily Studio is one of my favorites, also Melissa Corry of Happy Quilting. Fig Tree Quilts also has delicious fabric and patterns.
ReplyDeleteI like Kate Spain
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I'm like some of the others on here, I don't really have a favorite designer...I make things up as I go along and create my own stuff.

me gusta más el paquete de los naranjas, es uno de mis colores preferidos y seguro que sale un edredón muy alegre y colorido.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard about that line either. I love it. My favorite pattern desinger is Amanda Murphy...I absolutely adore her fabrics and her patterns aren't overly complicated but produce wonderful quilts that really showcase the fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI love anything by Kate Spain - the colours she uses are always amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love cluck cluck sew patterns and Fig Tree & Co patterns. Because they're pretty, of course! Thanks for the chance!

Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts
ReplyDeleteis one of many - I have one of her patterns sitting next to my PC right now.
Others: Pat Wys, Monica Dillard, Minick and Simpson, Kaffe, etc.
My favourite designer is MoMo - "Wonderland" was the first designer fabric that I really coveted when I started quilting (and it's her first collection too!) and she hasn't disappointed me in her later collections either. Thanks for the great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThomas Knauer is actually my favorite because I love the way he pairs intellectual discourse with his design work (do you read his blog?). After that, I think Anna Maria Horner is unparalleled in how she layers color and pattern.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... this is a hard one! I usually don't buy patterns. I use the free ones from The Moda Bake Shop and others. But I did buy Camille's "Swoom" pattern and it was so much fun to make! I really like her other ones, too. I also like Jaybird patterns. They are fun and so different!.. These are beautiful fabrics! Thanks you for the give away!!

ReplyDelete
