Friday Fun Day, Giveaway, Reminisce, and Squared Elements

Hi Everyone,

I got to the shop early yesterday... picture this.. sitting at home with hot rollers in my hair the phone rings... it is ADT telling me the alarm is going off at the shop. In less than 10 minutes I was out the door ... when I got to the shop everything was fine so ... phew. Then the UPS man knocks on the door (because it was 2 hours before we normally open) he has 5 boxes of fabric.... and I didn't sit down for the rest of the day.

We had tons of lovely customers in the shop and Open Sew with Annette and I spent hours just putting together some lovelies to compliment Reminisce so that I could make some plus bundles that you all like so much.

 We also got all of the new oval elements and pure elements from Art Gallery yesterday.

Here is what we will giveaway this week... A fat quarter bundle of the ten fabrics in the Vivid Reflections palette of Reminisce.



 All you have to do is leave a comment telling me what your favorite two color combination is. Right now my favorite is Navy and Lemon Yellow. Giveaway is open until Midnight next Friday 7/5/13

The super awesome thing about having great employees is that I get to take a little bit of time off... so today I get to do what I want... :)

    grey with anything! I made a cushion that was grey with pinks and purples and now I'm making a quilt top that's grey with yellow and red, can't get enough of the greys!

    Hmmm, depends on the fabric and what mood I'm in. I'm doing a quilt a long right now with Cotton Couture Rust and Essex Yarn Dyed Linen Flax. Cerise/berry/fuschia & lime seems to be my latest search now though. Have a great day off! Don't melt.

    Gray with teal are my happy colours right now. Never thought gray would appeal to me but with the right colour is tends to soften up and can tone down the adjacent colours. Love the colours on the give away this week. Anne in CO

    For the past 2 or 3 years my colors of choice have been Orange with either bright blue or purple. Orange with just about anything actually. But if I had to choose one combo, Orange and Purple. :-)

    hmmm so hard to choose, right now I'm working on a cream/tan/brown/gold quilt that I love alot. But if I were going out and picking fabric I think I would go for something bright and cheery like yellow and orange.

    I am liking blue & yellow too but in paler shades. I have the fabric ready to go to make a ribbon/friendship star quilt out of it this summer. I need to get going as summer goes fast around here!

    Hmm I'm so stuck in my ways I wouldn't have considered navy and lemon yellow. Right now I'd have to say its magenta and lime green, though I can't remember the last time I was reserved enough to stick to just two colors ;)
