If you have been around here anytime at all you know how much I love Kate Spain. I not only love her designs but she is just about the nicest person you ever want to meet. When I returned to quilting after a couple year hiatus (attending school etc) I discovered her first collection Verna and it has been a love affair ever since.
When Alyce at Blossom Heart Quilts asked me to join the blog hop I immediately said yes. I mean how could I resist celebrating one of my favorite people? Then I realized that my documentation of my quilting was haphazard at best in those years and almost non-existent since the shop opened. So though I have made tons of projects with Kate's fabrics I have very little to show for it. I also realized my photography skills have improved much over the last few years... but here we go:
This was my first finished quilt after coming back to quilting. Made from 12 Days of Christmas:

ReplyDeleteTaking photographs and uploading the photos using dial-up internet connection is difficult for me. Most times I will leave to run overnight and it won't work, so have to give up. Kate Spain's fabrics are absolutely gorgeous. Hope I am able to work a method out for this contest! Thanks for the chance.
