Yep, it's true this is my 1000th post on the blog... Crazy... how shall we celebrate? How about a Giveaway? I knew you would like that :) See the bottom of the post about how to enter to win my own personal re-mix of Cotton + Steel.
We have two more pre-orders posted on the website (if you didn't see the newsletter). One is for Tinsel by Cotton + Steel it is their Christmas collection which consists of quilting cottons and brushed twill and is due in May. I am super excited that Rashida did a Washi Tape print again... j'adore!
and here is a close up of the twill... so soft
The other one is Spellbound Cotton + Steel's Halloween collection. It's spooktacular... or beautifully haunting LOL It arrives in June. Just a reminder about Pre-orders they need to be purchased separately since they come in at separate times.
For the Giveaway...How about my own personal re-mix of Cotton + Steel. These are a few of my favorite prints. It includes three of the prints that I used in my Poolside tote (which isn't finished yet but soon) and my favorite of the basics (the purple and navy xoxo) the cookie cutters and peanut butter cookie prints from Cookie Book. I love the steamer trunk print from Alexia's first collection. There are canvases too! Since this is my own personal fantasy you get my favorite cuts.... regular 1/4 yds (not fat quarters 'cause I like strips for making herringbone blocks) and half yards of the canvas ('cause what can you do with 1/4 yd of canvas?) it will make a nice big lovely bundle of happiness for someone.
I got almost too much light in the front room today... sometimes having sun almost all of the time is a curse... :)
All you have to do is leave a comment telling me what new collections that are coming out are on your wish list... here are a few of mine... Ex Libris by Allison Glass, Mini Pearl Bracelets by Lizzy House, and Tula Pink's True Colors. Giveaway ends next Wednesday at Midnight Eastern Time.
Have a super huuuump-daaaaayyyy!
