Last but not least... I have been wanting to tell you about Creativebug... as you all know I love Creativebug. I have been a member for a few years now and every once in a while I tell you guys about them. They have great teachers! Including Anna Maria Horner, Amy Butler, Lizzy House, Heather Ross, and Carolyn Friedlander... honestly it is great. The reason I am talking about them now is they have a special if you sign up now 1 Month for $1  you can do as many classes as you want... and Sonya Philip of "100 Acts of Sewing" with her hot patterns is teaching her three basic pattern classes. Tunic No. 1, Pants No. 1, and Shirt No. 1.

The patterns alone would cost you close to $50 this is a great deal folks. If you want to sign up just click on the picture to go to Creativebug.

Look at this Quilt with Anna Maria:

Plus they have painting, cooking, knitting... it's great!

I am currently not working on a quilting project as I recently moved and I am still getting organized and unpacked. But I see so many I need to do that I can't wait to get back to the sewing machine!

  54. Oh my! I can’t even describe how much I love this sweet enamel mug, and for it to be filled with fabric?! Swoon! I have never been to Portland, but hear amazing things about the restaurant (ahem, donut) scene there. I would love to go! And as a crazy avid reader, well Powell Books is basically heaven so I will cross my fingers that I get there one of these years.

My crafting is pretty basic these days, as a single mama of three boys I have to say my fabric stash is still growing and I do love my basic patchwork and whole cloth quilts (mostly used as snuggle blankets and folded in big piles on our couches and at the foot of our beds. I have purchased a few abstract embroidery kits from Belinda Marshall
In Australia that I am excited to try one of these days, too. Thanks for the super awesome giveaway! I would love to win! xo

  97. I have multiple projects going (as usual) but my favorite one right now, and I can not WAIT to finish it, is a queen size quilt and the pattern is “Tone it Down” for my mother. It’s in beautiful scrappy colors. My father died just not very long ago and I think something pretty and fresh for the bed is a good thing right now so I’m anxious to get it done for her. A close second would be an antique chair that I am recovering with an antique quilt that was not whole that I found going through my dads things, no doubt my grandmothers. It’s not a chair you sit in, just a pretty . It’s going to be lovely.
