Hi Everyone,
If you remember a few days ago I had shown you some fabric that I bought while at In Between Stitches. I have not been buying a lot of fabric for myself because I wanted to save all my pennies for buying fabric for my shop (that is getting closer just a few days and I should have the last of the paperwork back). So when I buy fabric right now I have to have a project in mind for it or I can't have it. Saturday when I should have been cleaning (well I did clean some but...) I made a new bag for myself out of the Kumari Garden fabric and some linen I bought:

I have been carrying the same bag for more than a year it was time for a change. I totally love this for spring and summer. I kind of designed it while I went along so there are one or two things I would/will change, like the size and color of the sash.
I thought I would show you my last piece of art that I made for Brooke, now that she has already posted it, as well.
I gave her curly hair like Brooke too :)
And lastly for today... TTT I stayed the same... ugh I hate it when things slow down :) Hopefully next week will be better.
Talk soon!
Love the new bag - fun to treat ourselves once in a while. The little art work is just wonderful! Clever girl!
ReplyDeleteThe art piece for Brooke is gorgeous! You are so very talented!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute!!! Love the bag and well you don't really want to know how long I have been carrying around the same bag! I am not sure about the sash, but that is just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the artwork - still love it and it still sits in a special place in my studio.
Don't despair about your weight loss, just do it cause I know you can!
Love the new bag! I was seriously considering buying a stash of kumari garden but that was the time I was trying to use what I have...
ReplyDeleteAnd that painting looks absolutely darling! I so wish I could do what you do but I am hopelessly untalented when it comes to anything that has to do with painting :)
I love that you just whipped up a bag :) It would take me months...lol and I am really loving your artwork. I am so glad that you have enjoyed this.
ReplyDeleteI love Brooke's art. Love! And don't worry about this week. I have had several weeks like that. Next week will be better!
ReplyDeleteooohhhh, I love Brooke's gift... can u pls do a givet away with that art!
ReplyDeleteI really, really, really love your art. I want to do that class so badly, but I want to do it when I can concentrate on it. Still thinking about it. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour bag is cute!
Good luck with the store. I am so excited for you.
It's okay when you stay the same...if you stick with it, you usually have a big weight loss that follows shortly thereafter!
I won a new tote bag in OWOH and I am using it to hold my supplies for making grunge ribbon necklaces. I have the ribbons and beads...now I need to learn how to make the necklace.
