Welcome To My New Home...The Shop is Open

Let me show you around.

To the right you see the button for my shop. I just have a small inventory at the moment but I am hoping to add to it a lot over the next couple weeks. The shop address might change but it will always be available through that button. (I am always happy to do reserved listings for special sized cuts all the way down to Fat Quarters so if you don't see the cut you need in the shop feel free to convo or email me with what you need.)

Above you see my lovely new logo designed by the most talented lady ever, sweet Amanda Herring of The Quilted Fish. Thanks again Amanda!

Over here, around the corner, is the fabric cabinet. Aren't these Sugar & Spice prints to die for?





And right here is where you will find a nice discount as a special thank you for following me. My followers recieve a 15% discount in my shop this week and a permanent discount of 10%. Lastly I wanted to say the sewing room has nothing new to see today. My In-laws were in town for a week and I didn't do any sewing. I do have something fun coming in a week or so but it is top secret.

    We have a 3 yr old toddler who loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates on Disney Jr. so I'd have to say that the Pirate line is number one. More specifically the
    C2571 Blue- Pirates -Ship because it's not too "skully" and scarey for a 3 yr old. We also like the Playball line. It includes the blue helmet fabric and the orangey helmet fabric. I could see some fall projects using this as we are Citadel (blue) and Clemson (orange) football fans.

    Wow, lots of followers! Best of luck to you and you know I'll be a customer! As for the new Riley Blake fabric lines, I'm torn between all of the animals ones. If I had to chose just one, I'd probably pick the Alphabet Soup. Happier Cottons, Hoo's in the Forest and Farm Fresh in a close tie for second. I'm in an animal print phase, I guess!

    The 2 lines of RB fabric that I like the best Though it was a hard choice, are: Lola's Posies the bright colors in this are wonderful. My second choice would be Alphabet soup girl cottons, I like the varity of companion prints in this line.

    Why didn't I leave a comment before? I just got my fabric! Yay! So excited! It is absolutely beautiful, it is totally up there with my favorite ever, the Sherbet Pips :)
    As to the favorite lines, can I be honest? They are all fun and cute but nothing really catches my eye. Hoo's in the forest and farm fresh as well as sew cherry have some prints that are cute but I wouldn't buy the whole line just the main prints or maybe some charm packs. Sorry to not be of much help with those!
    But I am excited for 1001 peeps and I will buy those from you as soon as you get them!
    BTW: I love the look of your page!

    Ok, so I've checked out the upcoming Riley Blake designs, and I have to agree with Johanna before me. There are lots of useful basics in there, but nothing that I'm DYING to have, you know? Farm Fresh and Alphabet Soup are definitely cute, but with no little ones to sew for, they're not likely to find a way into my stash.

    I like the look of farm fresh, and sew cherry, some great coordinates in those collections too.

    My fav Riley Blake fabrics are definitely Quilted Fish - by mostly sugar and spice - I have been told by my LQS that they bought some, but they haven't got it yet - so they've got just a couple more days, and then I'm going online to get some! Thanks for sharing!

    The Riley Blake fabrics are so cute! I especially liked Alphabet Soup and Holly Jolly. I recently got some older Riley Blake prints from the line Rainy Days and Mondays and I'm loving them as well!

    Of the up and coming lines, I love Hoo's in the Forest (sooooo cute!) and Farm Fresh. Although, I have to say I am surprised that I like the Halloween line, Trick or Treat, I don't normally go for them, but those little ghosties are the cutest I have ever seen! Thanks sharing the link!! :)
