Friday Fun Day ... and Two Giveaways

Friday, August 10, 2012
Hi Everyone,

Oh my goodness I haven't blogged since Monday... eep! It took me until Wednesday to get all of the sale orders cut (that is the longest it has taken me to recover from a sale) then my mom was here yesterday so I just didn't have time. I hope you all had an awesome week.

Today I am offering my favorite Christmas collection for a giveaway. I wish you guys could see this in person I think it is so pretty. I love non-traditional Christmas fabric:

I love Tina Givens! So a fat quarter bundle of this (the panel will be bigger to get in more of the Polar Bear squares). Just leave me a comment about your favorite Christmas project in the past or future. Giveaway ends midnight 8/17.

Also I should have mentioned this the other day... I sponsored a little giveaway for my friend Alyce at Blossom Heart Quilts she is doing a blog hop... check out the adorable nappy (diaper) wallet she tuted up for you and enter to win some Coquette Charm packs.

By the way Coquette is gorgeous... just thought I would say that LOL

I hope you have an awesome Friday and weekend. I am having a sewing and Project Runway marathon with my sweet friend Jennifer tomorrow.

Talk soon!

  156. I love making things for Christmas because there are so many fun things to make. My kids really love the advent calendar that I made years ago.

  157. My all time favorite Christmas project is the plastic canvas Christmas "mailbox" that I made for my in-laws years ago. They love it and so do I.

  158. Oh cute fabric for the holidays. Now to get my "old" Pfaff fixed. I must sew and a new machine is not in the mix for me right now. But something will work out and will be fine. Thanks for the chance to win. Have a gr8 week.

  159. My favorite Christmas project were a bunch of mini tote bags I made one year for all the ladies in my family. I thought they turned out so cute!

  160. Christmas is coming sooner than I like to think! This fabric would help me ease into the notion ... it being not so overtly Christmassy! It's very pretty!

  161. Just finished making the Vintage Q uilt for the quilt along, at least the blocks. I am quite happy with that. The material for the give away is beautiful. Love a chance to win. marlaruthnelson@gmail.com

  166. I wanted to make the wall hanging that came out last year. It says Ho Ho Ho in a kinda funky way, I can't remember the designer right now, or even the book it was in... geez I hope I can find it. I'm also hoping to make a square tree skirt this year.

Favorite project I've made is my kids stockings, they're from the Grinch Stole Christmas Panel, so they look like Whoville stockings. Love them!
