Sorry I have been so quiet this week. Working on a project that needs to be finished up by Monday and it is keeping my nose to the grindstone.
I am a little bummed that my new fabrics haven't arrived yet for the shop so let's have a party to cheer me up. This is my 190th blog post just ten more to go until I hit 200... probably take about 3 weeks. You know me if I am celebrating you are winning something... so between now and the big #200 let me know what you would like me to give away from my store (you can choose from the coming soon fabrics on the website as well). I will pick a few of the suggestions and one of the commentors on my 200th post will get a nice prize package. For the people that make the suggestions that I pick... you will also get whatever you suggested. So there will be multiple prizes.
Rules: (comments for this will be open until next Friday night at midnight)

I would have to go with a 1/2 yard bundle of Happier. I really like the blue, but I also really like the green and orange! Decisions, decisions ;)

OH WHAT A FUN GAME! I love new lines...and you have some great ones coming soon! six new lines...i noticed that each new line has a great circle pattern..i love circles, dots, polka dots etc...what about one circle print from each of the new lines? my favorite being the new bracelet print from Lizzy House!!!

well at first I was going to say Happier Gardens because it just makes me happy but then I saw this line...April Kumari Garden By Dena Fishbein ....and I just have to have it. Why you ask....when my grandfather died when I was 4 I was told that a beautiful butterfly hung around the entire funeral. When my grandmother died 4 years ago...what hung around with us at the funeral...a beautiful orange butterfly. So I have always felt that they were watching us....and when I saw this butterfly fabric I new I must have it. I will somehow or another make a quilt in rememberance of my granparents :)

ReplyDeleteAs soon as i saw April Kumari Garden - wow that is what I would love the most - to make a quilt for my sis in law - she could use some cheering up and loves butterflies. The red/pink/yellow color line is wonderful! thanks for such fun!

I was looking around your shop and then through the comments and it seems everyone has a different opinion about what they want so why not give away one of your "build your own 8 FQ bundles" I think this is a great idea! The bottom line for me is that you are generous and we all appreciate that!!!

Looking at the existing orange 8 fat quarter bundle you have out there, Id build a 5 half yard bundle out of (from top to bottom) fabric 1 (white bkgrd), fabric 2 (orange bkgrd), fabric 4(orange on orange circles), fabric 6 (birds on white bkgrd) and fabric 7(striped)

I would love to win the red and blue fat quarter bundle of sugar and spice. It would make a perfect set of stacked coins quilts for my two little cousins. They were born in July and love all things red white and blue. With this set they could have similar but not matching presents.

I have a new, one and only granddaughter who is 8 months old and we're looking at redoing her bedroom into something a little brighter and girly, since it's very generic in nature. Either of these would be wonderful for her!

I'm not real thrilled with the coming soon fabrics - the prints are too specific for me! I'm really liking Happier Cottons by Deena Rutler for Riley Blake. You don't see nice collections in greens very often so I'm loving the green colorway. Very Springy too.
