Hi Everyone,
I didn't get much sleep last night (Too excited about Heirloom and Pernilla's Journey coming today I think).
Our Friday Tutorial for The Quilted Fish is going to be slightly delayed today. So I thought you might like to see this fun tutorial from Sew Take A Hike a diaper wristlet with changing pad out of Laurie Wisbrun's new fabric, so cute!
On to the Giveaway... today I decided to let you pick your own. I am giving away a $25 gift certificate to my shop. You get to pick your own prize. You can even save it for future use with one of the fun lines that is coming later.
Okay this one you get to work for as well... Here is my favorite quote that uses the word "Intrepid":
"She'd not known she had it in her. She was feeling...well...rather intrepid..." Chloe Zanders - Dark Highlander by Karen Marie Moning (honestly if you haven't read her you don't know what your missing)
So your mission if you choose to accept it is... either come up with your own quote that uses the word Intrepid or find one from somewhere else. This is still a random giveaway so no matter the quote you can win. But I will be choosing a few for the pages of my website in the future.
Leave one comment with your entry quote and good luck. Giveaway runs until next Friday July 29th at midnight.
See you in a little while with a treasure of a tutorial from Jana...

ReplyDeleteAs you may recall, we have enjoyed the 32 ft. Intrepid for a number of years, and for the last four, the 35 ft. Intrepid. We have used it extensively as a tender to our 130 ft. motor yacht, the Silver Shalis. Wow this was a tough one. I found a bunch of quotes but most were already posted so I decided to go another route. This is from Intrepid Potash's 2nd quarter results statement. Not very exciting, but interesting that two businesses with polar opposite products share the same name. "Intrepid estimates that it produced between 205,000 and 215,000 tons of potash and sold between 220,000 and 230,000 tons of potash. Production within the quarter includes the benefit of approximately one extra month than historically normal of production from our Moab solar solution mine because of favorable brine levels and harvest conditions. Intrepid estimates its average net realized sales price for potash sold during the quarter was approximately $455 -- $465 per ton. "
