Hi Everyone,
For fun I thought I would show you a few Sneaky Peekies of some things from the Newsletter (it will be out Tuesday).
Melissa's Original Reversible Bag Pattern. This will be so awesome for Christmas gift giving...
There will be a super little pattern tip from our friend Sunni.
And I know you have seen this already but it's so gorgeous I just have to show you again:
A tutorial from Brooke on how to make my table runner :)
PS. go take a look at her blog today she is working up something with one of the fabric collections I have coming for the shop.. yum yum!
There will also be a tutorial from Jackie for this adorable Christmas Wall Hanging.
In this month of Thanksgiving I also want to tell you how blessed I am to have such wonderful friends. Melissa, Sunni , and Sasha are new friends but no less cherished (lucky me I get to meet Melissa this week). Brooke, Sally, and Jackie are old friends (I met them in January LOL) but we are soul mates and I always know they are in my corner as I am in theirs. I am so blessed.
One more very special friend is my friend Becky. I met Becky through this blog. She is a new quilter and we hit it off instantly. She was the one that introduced me to Mixed Media Art and we share books across the miles. I love this girl! Here is a piece of art that she made that showed up across the miles for me one day:
She is such a doll! So all of this to say Happy Birthday girlie! Hope you have a wonderful one!
On to the Giveaway... in honor for Brooke I am giving away a six fat quarter pack of Primitiva that I picked up at Sample Spree... yay!
Fun stuff!
All you have to do is leave a comment here telling me what you feel most blessed for. Giveaway runs until Friday 11/18 at midnight.
Have a wonderful day and go thank a Veteran or Soldier it's only fair!

Today I am thankful for coffee. Yesterday I had an early meeting so I wasn't able to just relax and enjoy a cup of coffee before starting my day. I'm lingering a little longer over my coffee this morning.
ReplyDeleteAs I sit here with my friends at Chick-fil-A having Bible study, I am very blessed to be surrounded by people that love me and keep me on track!
ReplyDeleteI'm so grateful for a close-knit family. My children didn't always get along growing up, but now they're quite close even though they're spread out across the globe. Thank goodness for Skype!!
ReplyDeleteI just read a blog post about a "tote bag for Ezra". I lost a baby 3 years ago named Ezra. But God has given me three amazing children here on this earth and I am blessed - but I am also blessed (and very thankful) that God has healed my heart from that loss so much that I actually smiled when I saw his name.
ReplyDeleteI feel most blessed having my sweet family. I did not have siblings, so having a wonderful husband and three precious children are the greatest blessing in my life. I am thankful to the Lord for HIS mercies too.
ReplyDeleteI am feeling blessed to be having a happy, healthy pregnancy which is still a secret from all but my husband.
ReplyDeleteI have a wonderful family and some wonderful friends. God has richly blessed me, and I am so very thankful for his Grace and Love.
ReplyDeleteThankful for my husband's continuing recovery from cancer - more surgery next week but we continue to be otimistic
ReplyDeleteWow. I can't wait for the newsletter. YAY!
ReplyDeleteI am most blessed for my amazing husband EVERY single day. Two weeks before our wedding we found out I had a medical problem that the doctor even told me he'd be surprised if I wasn't in a wheelchair before the age of 50. Umm at the time he told me that I was already knocking on the door to that age. ack. And combined with another medical problem I had which can be serious on its own, the two of them left me unable to work. There are a lot of men that would have taken that news, freaked out and ran as fast as they could. Not this guy. Nope! Not only did he stick around but, as the years passed, he has had to take over grocery shopping for the most part, laundry, some cooking depending on my day with the pain level and also doing the dishes too. PLUS he works full time too. So yea, he is my hero and who I am very much thankful for.
I am thankful for : Jesus, husband, safe home, family, pet, friends (including my blogging friends, without them it would be a dull life indeed)+ a sewing machine that works.
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness....I was so not expecting that! Thank you so much Julie! I am so very thankful that I found your blog and we started chatting! You are like a long lost sister to me and it is so fun to see what all we have in common when we have never met. I appreciate your friendship more than I can explain! Thank you for putting up with my 100 quilting questions and helping me grow in this new craft!
ReplyDeleteI feel most blessed that I grew up in a happy two-parent home. Today 11-11-2011 would have been my dad's 100th birthday if he were still alive. He had us kids convinced for years that we got out of school on Nov. 11th because it was his birthday. I was lucky to have a mom who sewed, did weaving and basketry and was my Camp Fire leader, and thought it was important that we took camping trips up and down the Washington and Oregon coast. She has Alzheimer's now and doesn't know who I am, but she still knows the old Camp Fire songs.
ReplyDeletei feel most blessed about having an incredible son.
ReplyDeleteToday I feel most thankful for heated seats in my car!! =)
ReplyDeleteI am blessed to have had a wonerful father who was a WWII veteran. I lost him too soon. He was on 49 when he passed away. The sad part is he missed seeing his first grandson who was born the day before he died. He also missed out knowing my beautiful daughter who he would have been so proud of.
ReplyDeleteI am blessed to have a courageous Mom who at age 84 is battling breast cancer.

ReplyDeleteOf course, I am blessed to have my husband, son and extended family. But today I am thinking about a girl I know from classes at the YMCA, who recently had a stroke at the age of 35. I am thinking of all she and her family are going through and I'm thankful for my health and that of my loved ones. And I'm thankful and hopeful that she is improving and will continue to improve.
ReplyDeleteI am blessed in so many ways. God is good. Today I feel so blessed to be able to take a walk with my husband and enjoy the fall day.

The people there taught me so much about how to show love and kindness. I know that the many blessings of my life's journey come together in each piece I draw and then translate in fiber.

ReplyDeleteI am so thankful for Jesus Christ and the difference He has made in my life:)
ReplyDeleteLike the previous comment, it is the same for me that salvation from my sins that Jesus suffered and died for..taking my place upon the cross..I looked out the window of a building I worked in 30 years ago, today. I recalled my whole life while gazing out that window. All the things I'd said and done that I am ashamed to admit I have done looked back at me as I gazed out. I don't have to bear those mistakes anymore! They were washed away and the Lord will not hold them against me anymore, not will I have any reason to feel guilty or ashamed for them. Thats a great feeling. Until I knew Jesus and asked him to forgive me..I did feel that guilt and kept me from living life as it should be lived.. So yes, that is what I am most grateful for...my husband is a close second because he is a wonderful man!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my family, my job, my pets, and the chance to grow as a person through my future.
