Monday, Monday....

Hi Everyone!

Oh my goodness! I am sorry I have been so quiet the last week... Today starts the 4th and last day of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale and I have spent the last 3 days,  literally (I promise I am not exaggerating) 15 hrs a day cutting and wrapping. Even on my Birthday... eeps! I also updated my coming soon page on the website so go take a look at all of the awesome that is coming. I took a moment this morning to take a couple pictures (in the dark... excuse the quality).

Some Sunni loves me ... because she sent me this adorable notebook for my birthday. Wasn't that sweet of her? She covered it in some of the solids I sent her and some Hometown. It is so adorable! Reminds me of a sunrise ... le sigh...

After all of this crazy busy I am taking Wednesday off to sew some cute outfits for this adorable girl. Her name is Nezumi (means mouse) 'cause she has silver hair (my daughter named her). She was my birthday pressie from the best Hubby ever! (I am part of a Yahoo group called Creepy Old Ladies That Play With Dolls LOL) But I am not that old... for all of you that were guessing my age I am not 50 and I am not 25 but I am closer to the former than the latter :)

I will also be whipping up a little Sumthin' Sumthin' for my Twitter Secret Santa partner with this here Neptune. (I mean really ... just use it already) LOL She is a die hard Tula Pink fan.

Back to the cutting table. Don't miss the great deals on Delighted, Little Apples and Terrain... with the extra 20% off you are getting them basically at wholesale...

Have a super Monday!

  3. Happy Birthday! I really wanted one of those dolls, but I don't need another obsession and really couldn't afford one! I thought it would be fun to sew for them.

  4. Happy Birthday! What fun gifts. Delighted that your shop is so busy (although the 15-hour days part is not so fun).

  9. That was so sweet of Sunni! I snuck over and ordered some Outfoxed from you. I also told my family members to get me gift cards to your store for Christmas! A girl can dream, right?

  12. Yay for time off Julie. Enjoy. I've not been posting since I've been super busy prepping for our Thanksgiving which was this past Sunday when two of our four boys could come home. Hubby and I(him mostly) cleaned the entire house top to bottom on Sat. Friday we spent most of the day shopping for the groceries (my second trip last week) in which I told him I just needed a 'few' more things.....$180 later he was laughing at me and held the receipt up into the air. It was about four feet long. oops. Then Sat night was cooking a lot and again all day on Sunday. Monday and again today I'm still paying for all that moving around and walking and chopping stuff. I am just one big ball o'pain and can barely walk or type. ack. BUT, we have some really yummy food so no more cooking for me for a few more days and that's after the kids all took leftovers home by the buckets. Yes, I still cook like I am feeding an army. I don't know any other way to do it. Thankfully I'm a great cook or it could be a bad thing right!? I'm thrilled since I can finally end my years of searching for THE perfect stuffing recipe. I finally found it and everyone raved over how good it was. Heck, I was eating it before they got here and couldn't stay away.

I am so happy you had a great birthday even if it was spent working so hard. I haven't become one of those crazy old women with the dolls but have seen many of them around the bloggy world. Another blog I follow is crazy over them too and was making tons of clothes for her doll and I think she got a couple more dolls too. Now I need to remember what blog that was and let you know just in case you haven't run into her yet. I think I know so I'll check. If you want to know shoot me an email and I'll get that to you.
Have fun playing today. I need to shut up before my comment looks like you missed and typed your blog post for the day in the comments section. haha
