Hi Everyone,
I just put the shop in Vacation mode but I am not taking a vacation :) I am working on the new website and getting some much needed organization done. So those are my plans for the weekend.... what about you? Do you have anything fun going on for the Holiday weekend?
I am giving away two charm packs of A Walk In The Woods this week. I always feel like you need at least two to make anything...
Aren't they cute? So here is how you enter... Leave me a comment telling me what fabric collection you would bring back if you could. You may not say Neptune (because don't we all?) or Flea Market Fancy (it has been done :) ) so anything but those two... The giveaway runs until midnight 2/24/12.
Go forth and have a lovely weekend... you will see me back here tomorrow with the winner of last week's giveaway.

I'd bring back the Heather Ross collection w/ all of the Mermaids. Can't remember the name, but I wish I had bought some of it!
ReplyDeleteI'm too new to sewing to know what has gone that I'd want back, but I'm sure the list would be very long... :) thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHR's goldfish in a bowl was retired, I think. I "won" some in a bidding war on Ebay.
ReplyDeletethat above anonymous - huh? don't know why, as I am NOT. is gmmeenan at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI wish Simple Abundance by Bonnie & Camille would come back. The color range on that line was fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI just started sewing two years ago, so I missed Bohemian by Anna Maria Horner. I really wish I could get my hands on that collection! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd choose Denyse Schmidt's Hope Valley! I have some but it's so hard to find in the UK!
ReplyDeletehmmm... I don't think Sanctuary is out any more right? That was one of my all time favs! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm just a beginning quilter - but anything from the first quilt I made would be good. and I don't even know the names, but I'd like to make a matching set of pillow cases!
ReplyDeleteWould luv to see Heather Ross's Mendocino line reprinted....yes it is the one with the mermaids..LUV it!!! Thanks for the chance to win...(o:
ReplyDeleteAunt Luci's Cottage
ReplyDeleteOh bandwagon alert - Heather Ross Mendocino or all the Lightening Bugs.
ReplyDeleteHoliday weekend? Are you making them up now?
The Heather Ross line with the gold fish in bags. I think it is just so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Joel Dewberry's aviary collection brought back.
ReplyDeleteI like Color Play by Moda. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm looking for some Toybox 30's fabrics frantically and I'm wishing they were back...or that I had noticed them sooner! I'm usually behind everyone else so I'm always wishing there was more of something. :) Thanks for the chance at the lovely fabric!
ReplyDeleteI am not sewing for long time, If I new I suppose I would have a few to choose though. Thanks for the chance!.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't a whole collection but I would desperately like a rerun on Alexander Henry's Traffic Jam. My boys love it!
ReplyDeleteMy second would be the line with the fish in the bags by Heather Ross. I regret I never got any!
It would have to be Heather Ross....but I'm not sure how to narrow down which one! I love the VWs and the Gnomes....and several others too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun and chance to win! :)
I would vote for Mermaids because I missed it when it came out but did find a huge length of it at the thrift store! Score!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway and great question. I would say Heather Ross - FFA1, FFA2, Lightning Bugs, and especially MENDOCINO! Wish they would listen to me..:( haha
ReplyDeleteI would love to see "Katie Jump Rope". it was discontinued before i fell in love with fabric!
ReplyDeleteEasie peasie! I would love to have more of Shangri La by 3 Sisters/Moda. I loved that group:)
ReplyDeleteI have a little grand daughter arriving at the end of next month and I have been looking at Walk In The Woods to try and decide what I could make with it. Wouldn't it be fun for a baby girl??? Thanks for a chance to win!
I love the goldfish in a bag, too!! I would love to just have a scrao if that! Thanks for the great giveaway. Enjoy Presidents' Day weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm not up to snuff with what lines aren't available anymore... it's hard to keep up with all the new fabric lines and all I can do is dream of maybe having a wee bit to play with!!
ReplyDeletetula pink's plume- i love the birds and feathers!
ReplyDeleteI am just a beginner .... I am a Denyse Schmidt fan so I am going to buy some flea market fancy!!!!!!!

msstitcher12@yahoo.com
I'd bring back Simple Abundance by Bonnie and Camille. Such pretty fabrics! Thank you for the generous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteAll Star by Riley Blake, best boys line ever! But I heard they're coming out with a Super Star line later this year? I hope it's just as good, and has lots of blues, green, and orange in it!
ReplyDeleteourbusylittlebunch(at)hotmail(dot)com
woodland bloom. i didn't buy enough of it before, and had a hard time finding it in the blue colorway.
ReplyDeleteThe sad truth is, until about 6 months ago, I was in the dark about designer fabrics. I thought what was at Joann's was my only option. I feel like I am playing catch up for what I missed the last 10 years. I agree with the other comments that the gold fish in bags by Heather Ross is super cute.
ReplyDeleteHeather Ross anything, and I'd love to see more of Melody Miller's typewriters and hearts fabric printed, because I can't find any anywhere!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway, I love Aneela Hoey's designs, adorable!!
Strawberry Fields by Figtree :) So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'd bring back the Toy Box fabric line - love it so much. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeletetwelve30(at)gmail(dot)com
I don't have any idea what isn't available anymore. I just started quilting. In the past I have sewn a great deal of clothes. A walk in the woods is tooo cute. Wish I could see a pic of that fabric everyone wants with the fish in the bags, though.
ReplyDeleteHave a great holiday.
I'll go with Lotus by Amy Butler! Those were discontinued in 2009, long before I started sewing. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeletecarissa.sutton(at)gmail.com
Deb Strain's Winter Song! :D
ReplyDeleteI didn't buy an Nicey Jane when it was *everywhere* because I didn't have a project in mind for it. Now I can think of a million things I would make if I just had some....
ReplyDeleteI'd love anything by Anna Maria Horner or Joel Dewberry. Of course Heather Ross and Moda fabrics are great too. Thanks so much for this giveaway. I would absolutely love to have this for a quilt!
ReplyDeleteOh I've been drooling over a Walk in the Woods since I first saw it! I'm too new to fabric collections to know what has "gone away", but I know there are some pretty ones now!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to quilting, but I really like Lizzy House's Red Letter Days bird prints which I have only been able to get a FQ here and there on Etsy. i want more! Happy Vacation!
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew the names of fabric lines. I just haven't been in the fabric collecting mode long. And they don't seem to keep the lines available long do they? Scrapbook paper is out for a while but I've noticed fabric is not. I still have a lot of learning too do.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend...we are celebrating my granddaughters first birthday!
Hey that's not fair. I'm not ang big follower of fabric lines. I don't know what I'd bring back because I don't know collections! Tempting to just copy what someone else said but that would be cheating.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see lots of Heather Ross designs reprinted and AMH Good Folks!
ReplyDeleteI'd bring back Gypsy Wall in sky from the Garden Wall collection. I just love the big print. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've only been sewing for a few years, but I saw a quilt made of The Wizard of Oz fabric that I loved!,! Wish I could find it... Thanks for the giveaway. The charms are sew sweet. Thanks Mary
ReplyDeleteI would love to see basic grey's Eva line. So lush.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been quilting long enough to know what fabrics have been discontinued... but I know which one would make me cry if it disappeared!I adore Micheal Millers Aqua Red line!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to buy lately, so I don't really know what's out of print; however, I really wish I could buy the Dr Seuss lines, and more Sunshine by April Cornell. Also the Gobble Gobble line. I really love that!
ReplyDeleteAlexander Henry's Fsrmdale. It's getting scarce!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have Heather Ross's Mendocino line reappear. I've been buying bits and pieces as I find them.
ReplyDeleteGeez, that's a toughie, cause the last time I really looked at lines was in the 70's and 80's. I miss the Concord(?) tiny calicos of the 70's, bright golden yellow, bright to royal blue, nice orangish red, with rosebuds that were either blue or red. Thanks for the nice giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have not been sewing long enough yet to have an fabrics that I would like to see come back. Thank you for the chance at the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThat a hard one - I am so new that I dont even what there was to miss!
ReplyDeleteI've only been paying attention to names lately so I don't know. I love that new stuff comes out so often though, and it usually keeps me busy enough that I don't have time to worry about what's not available anymore :)
ReplyDeleteAnything by Heather Ross would be nice.
ReplyDeleteI loved the line A Breath of Avignion by Sandy Klop for Moda!
ReplyDeletePure by Sweetwater for moda. I discovered it when it was no longer able to be found as a whole line.
ReplyDeleteI'm too new to the whole sewing/quilting thing to know about past fabric lines, but I love the Heather Ross goldfish in a bag, etc., so that line would be nice.
ReplyDeleteYou're very sensible and generous re the two charm packs. One is kind of small to make much. Thank you.
I'm new to sewing so I don't know what is gone, but I would really like to win these packs
ReplyDeleteIt would be lovely to bring back Mendocino.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
I would love for Heather Ross to re-release some of her fabric. Mendecino, the goldfish, sushi...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the awesome giveaway!
i don't think i know enough about which line are still going and which are not to bring anything back!
ReplyDeletekatie jump rope for me.
ReplyDeleteI am also a "Newbie" to the Quilting World, and only know a few of the designers. No idea what is no longer out there. : (
ReplyDeleteThank you for chance to win such cute Charm packs tho!! : )
Only starting quilting a year ago so not sure what was out before then. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDelete~Terry~
Shangri La by 3 Sisters and anything else by 3 Sisters before that I don't know about! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSince i am fairly new i dont have an "old" favorite but i loved sweet pickins and waited too long to get my hands on some. I recently did an internet search and couldnt find much :(
ReplyDeleteI would bring back Bliss by Bonnie and Camille. I know there still is a little bit out there. It is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI've seen Simple Abundance by Bonnie and Camille only in pictures, and I would love to have some of that lovely line.
ReplyDeleteI just started collecting fabric about a year ago so I know I missed a lot. One in particular I don't know the name of buut it is like a paint by number with deer and woods. I saw it on a couple different blogs with projects. I would love to get my hands on it to make my husband a iPad pouch. Hope you have a super productive weekend. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty new to quilting, too, and don't know. But I do know that I'm in love with my "new to me" Singer 401 sewing machine - made in 1960 or something. All metal construction and sews like a dream. They should bring those back!
ReplyDeleteAnything retired by Tula Pink would get my vote. Wish I'd started buying sooner. =(
ReplyDeleteIt would be la Petit Poulet... I ordered some charm packs and should have got some of the yardage for the borders. Oh, well, there are always solids to be had for this purpose.
ReplyDelete~ Lynda
I would love to see a reprint of Hello Betty for Moda. I love the retro look. Thanks for the chance to win a great prize!!
ReplyDeleteJardin de Papillons by Clothworks/Chris Chun. I know there are still bits out there but I should have bought more!!
ReplyDeletethe heather ross mermaids one.. or the joel dewberry aviary - loved those purple birds!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I'm so not a "name" that fabric person. I just gravitate toward what I love and right now it is brights.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been quilting long enough to now any of the old lines. Maybe in a few years I'll be able answer this question. Thanks for the chance to win ...I love this line.
ReplyDeleteI really don't know anything about collection names... I just started quilting so I also don't know to much about collection at all, but I really want to learn more about it!!
ReplyDeleteWell, since I just started sewing a few months ago, I haven't got a clue. In fact, I don't want to know because then I'd be sad.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a really great giveaway Julie! :)
It's really hard to keep up with all the different fabric lines because there are just so many. I have a couple pieces from Kate Spain's Central Park and would like more, but I seldom see it.
ReplyDeletePure by Sweetwater for Moda. Love that line!
ReplyDeleteI really don't know what fabric lines aren't available anymore. I guess I don't keep up with it enough. I know I was looking for some Fandango yardage and couldn't find what i was looking for.
ReplyDeleteI am new to quilting just over a month so have not missed much yet. But have missed missing stuff. I love all of the wonderful things that I have seen and would hate for any of them to go away.
ReplyDeletehttp//richardquilts.blogspot.com
Make sure you stop by and put your guess in my quilt givaway by guessing my babys B-day or Birth Weight.
I really don't know what lines are still available and which are not!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Heather Ross's mendochino. I wish i hadn't missed that one.
ReplyDeletedicksonfran@gmail.com
I loved the Meadowsweet fabrics. I find some now and then in a clearance bin but it always is one that I have, never one that I need!
ReplyDeleteI don't know the name of the fabric, but my daughter wanted an owl quilt for her daughter and I just could not find this adorable owl fabric. I saw little bits and pieces, but not enough to work with. I ended up with It's a Hoot, which is pretty but not exactly the look we were going for.
ReplyDeleteI'm not very good at identifying or remembering fabric lines but I do wish they would reprint Heather Ross' goldfish in a bag fabric!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about a collection, but I always have a hard time finding Alexander Henry's Contigo print.
ReplyDeleteI dont follow designer fabric that closely- so I dont know what was out there- let alone what I want returned.
ReplyDeletebut i did get some sherbet pips and would love some more of that. or her other lines. Which is why im entering here!
Walk in the woods is very sweet
I feel like a moron, but I don't know Neptune. Maybe it is better that I don't b/c then I would just pine for it. Right? That's what we'll go with.
ReplyDeleteIf I could bring back a line, it would be Dewberry's first Aviary. I used a lot of those prints in my daughter's room, but now they are all gone. I absolutely fell in love with his orange damask from that line!
I would have to say Fandango for one, because I missed out on it altogether! The other one...any older 3 Sisters line, because I missed out on most of those!
ReplyDeleteCan't think of their names but there are a couple lines from Sandy Gervais that I'd like to get my hands on. Thanks for this, Julie.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I can't answer that! I haven't been shopping for fabric long enough to know what was out before the middle of last year! Sorry. BUT, I am really excited that you got Pezzy's back - I really like that one :)
ReplyDeleteWould love to have some more Sunkissed by Sweetwater. One of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteThe goldfish in bags were really fun and I missed out on them. I'd also love to have some Figgy Pudding. It is fabulous fabric.
ReplyDeleteI'm up for Sunkissed for Sweetwater - I've been hunting it down one piece at a time for a BOM I'm doing.
ReplyDeleteDo I have to pick just one?? 'Cause I can't decide between 1974 by Urban Chiks or Good Folks.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to see Good Folks back, I've gotten a FQ here or there but that's about it - I am so in love with the blues in that collections!
ReplyDeleteJust ONE??? Can't do it - so in no particular order;
ReplyDeleteFrom FIG TREE:
Patisserie
Dandelion Girl
Urban Indigo
Moda-Urban Chiks
Sweet
Swell
1974
Summer in the City
Moda Erin Michaels
LUSH
another line I think by her with paint by number birds.
I am so happy they brought back Freshcut (although my favorite print is not back). I'm trying to decide what to use it for though.
Any of Kate Spain's previous collections...any. I love them all!!
ReplyDeleteAs my use of designer quilting fabrics is relatively new, it is hard to pick an old one. From photos I've seen, Katie Jump Rope is a collection that I like. So, would pick it to bring back. If Bliss is out of print, then it is a choice too.
ReplyDeletePretty much anything by Kate Spain although with all the beautifulness that is coming and knowing if there is something I want it'll probably show up next year and I can't use all the great fabric I have now, I'll just say that I'm pretty impressed with what's out there now, and pretty satisfied. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAlthough you can still find Dogwood Trails in a few places, I don't thik it's being printed anymore. Would love to see the whole line come back - the soft colors were so dreamy.
ReplyDeleteI would like to have some more All Star from Riley Blake. Fun question.
ReplyDeleteHow about - Fish in a bag
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Heather Ross's Mendocino line brought back! Thanks for another greet giveaway, Julie!
ReplyDeletethanks for the generous giveaway. I have a hard time keeping up with all the beautiful fabric so I really can't answer the question.
ReplyDeleteMy weekend is going to be spent in the yard getting ready for my garden. Have a great weekend.
Prep school or Mendocino. I would totally make a picnic blanket from prep school (plus my scottish background means that I am drawn to plaids) but Mendocino was soooooo pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice giveaway! Thanks, Julie! Well, I think maybe the one I was admiring from Brooke lately. The name escapes me. It's one word...it's red and turquoise...it was last year's fabric. Dang, I can't remember the name. It will come to me. Of course, I still am in love with Sugar and Spice, too!
ReplyDeleteI'd also choose some Heather Ross - I didn't sew when her earlier stuff came out and now I know I totally missed out! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteMendocino all the way!!!
ReplyDeleteHeather Ross lightning bugs, rabbits and race cars or macaroni love story.
ReplyDeleteRuby! That's it!
ReplyDeleteI just started sewing recently. I still dont know the fabric lines very well. But a walk in the park is one of my favorite ones that i've seen
ReplyDeleteIi think I need a rest. I have to admit feeling VERY stupid right now. I'm reading that you put the shop on vacation but you aren't going anywhere. Then you mention the giveaway and what you would bring back. I keep reading and re-reading trying to see if I missed something about you going somewhere and keep thinking you're asking if we went too what would we bring back on the shopping trip. HA BOY do I feel dumb. It finally hit me that you are saying 'bring back' as in no longer available/sold out/can't get it without paying big bucks for someone who stashed some away and you want to buy it as it's the last yard on Earth type of 'bring back'. HAHA
ReplyDeleteAnd then I keep trying to figure out WHAT holiday weekend? Do I need to just run away from embarrassment or what? I realize Monday is President's Day but that's not a holiday around here unless you are a goverment worker.
Ok then. I'll just shut up now and give in......maybe just go back to bed even. I have only been buying designer fabric for a short time so I honestly can't say what I would 'bring back'. But hey, at least you get to laugh at me, the idiot behind the keyboard. :)
I'd bring back West Hill or Mendocino by Heather Ross! Thanks for the chance to win THIS lovely collection, too.
ReplyDeleteGarden Party - I've recently found a few prints at a LQS. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love Rouenniere by French General and Ruby.
ReplyDeleteI would like to get some more Nuce and Nautical by Sandy Gervais. I bought most of what my LQS had (seriously I did) and I can't find much if any left.
ReplyDeleteI'd bring back any of the Blackbird Designs fabrics.
ReplyDeleteAntique Fair is one I liked. Thanks for the giveaway. I've been looking at A Walk In The Woods and love it.
I can't really think of a range off the top of my head at the moment. So what I don't know I won't miss! Thanks for the lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteFun giveaway! I think Amy Butler's Lotus...just saw a pillow in the pink Wallflower - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'd like Heather Ross' goldfish back, as I didn't get into quilting until they were long gone :'(
ReplyDeleteI would bring back Tranquility by Sandy Gervais for Moda.
ReplyDeleteI just started sewing again last summer so I'm not really sure what isn't available. And when I sewed before (15 years ago) I sewed costumes for recreation of the middle ages! Thanks for the giveaway and good luck with all your work this weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh my - I can't remember the name of the fabric line at all (I wasn't aware of "cool lines" back then), but this was a fabric that was really whimsical and it had little tiny fairies on it, with whimsical flowers & stuff... It was in lighter colors - yellows, purples, pinks... I'm not normally into pastels at all, but this was gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAmy Butler's Belle.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Metro Cafe and Sanctuary.
(I have eclectic tastes in fabric.)
I'd bring back fabric with intricate border patterns (like the old Jinny Beyere ones). I loved them for medallion quilts. VermontPines at aol dot com
ReplyDeleteWould love Katie Jump Rope or Mendocino.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this fun giveaway!
I'd love to win these, I used to not look at fabric "collections" so old ones, I have no clue about the names, I do however shop often at Connecting threads, and there's several old sets I'd like to bring back, like the nightime one, it's black and white and red, now I can't remember hte exact name
ReplyDeleteOf course, Heather Ross Lightning Bugs Collection, or more recently, Sweet Broderie by Rosalie Quinlin for Lecien. I wonder if I spelled all that right. Anyway, Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what names were out there, but i get a lot of left overs from a friend and I wish I could get more of the ones she sent, I think they are from the older lines of patek and brannock.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
I wish there was a reprint of Central Park!
ReplyDeletebohemian by Anna Maria - Horner i love that collection. And of course it was out of print by the time i started quilting.....
ReplyDeleteI love fabric, but I don't really know what is no longer available. I tend to buy online and if it isn't available, it isn't in the shops, so I don't even know what I'm missing!
ReplyDeleteI have recently discovered Schnibbles patterns, and 2 charm packs are perfect for making those. Thank you for the chance to win these charms!
Good Folks by AMH and/or Katie Jump Rope by Denyse Schmidt.
ReplyDeleteHands down....Boutique by Chez Moi. LOVED it.
ReplyDeleteWalk in the park is one of my favorites and the one I would bring back.
ReplyDeleteThank you for doing this fun giveaway.
I recently saw a quilt with Heather Ross Mermaids and would love to have some of them! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI wish there would be a true reprint of a line of Laurel Burch's cats. I was late in the game in getting some of the fabric and couldn't find more. I was sooo excited when I saw online that more had been made but was super disappointed when I received my order. It was a cheaper reprint and the colors weren't quite the same as the original.
ReplyDeleteI'd bring back Heirloom by Joel Dewberry. I started a quilt along this year and when I went looking for this collection, I could not find it anywhere!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't be able to tell you which collection. There are way way too many. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteargh ... out of sight out of mind. to old to remember what was the thing a year or two ago. i regret not buying enough of some of what i have, but can always find a perfectly fine piece of fabric to go with what i have. thanx for the opportunity to win those cute little charm pax!
ReplyDeleteErin McMorris Weekends.
ReplyDeleteHeather Ross Far Far Away (1).
They tie for me :)
I wish I had some of the Heather Ross featuring the Princess and the Pea.
ReplyDeleteI would love Katie Jump Rope to make a return, it was released before I started quilting. Thanks for a lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Heather Ross's Mendocino collection reprinted - it came and went before I got into quilting.
ReplyDeleteAnything by Robyn Pandolph!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea but I would love some of the line with the mermaids (Mendocino?) and the one with the fish in bags. So cute and I don't have a bit.
ReplyDeleteI'm another HEather Ross mermaid fan!
ReplyDeleteWonderful giveaway...I think I would like to see Amy Butler Lotus Lacework
ReplyDeleteThe Heather Ross fabric with the goldfish in the little bags - so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI would be gitty if they re-ran ALL of the quilt makers gift line.
ReplyDeleteDo not recall the maker.
What a cute and great story, and fabric line.
I am pretty new to quilting. I don't have any fabric lines I wish would come back, just ones I wish I could own now! Thanks for the chane at your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see Pure by Sweetwater again. I didn't get any of it the first time.
ReplyDeleteIm conflicted. Heather Ross lighting bugs and Bonnie and Camille's Bliss!
ReplyDeleteI don't know old lines, but when the boys were a bit younger I would have loved something with the Wombles on it.
ReplyDeleteI don't know collections very well....but I would love to see anything brought back from my childhood like Holly Hobby for example! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a lot of the Heather Ross prints from the past - especially the one with doxen on it. Wait! Maybe that never was printed fabric...
ReplyDeleteNeptune is really big on my list too! I would like to see Love by Amy Butler and Park Slope by Erin McMorris brought back. I get really excited when I find either of these online or in stores.
ReplyDeleteI'd love some old Kaffe Fasset lines to be reprinted - there's a light leafy print that he uses in one of his books that is just perfection! But many many years ago and therefore unable to find :(
ReplyDeleteI'd love to bring back la Petite Poulet...I have a charm pack and I love it!! I want more of it, so I can make a table topper or wallhanging!!
ReplyDeleteI love to get some of Kate Spain Terrain. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteNot an easy choice, but I love Friendship Collections for a Cause. Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI know its very recent, but the typewriter print from melody miller's ruby star shining line is already impossible to find. Bring it back people!
ReplyDeleteI like Color Play by Moda. Thanks for the giveaway chance.
ReplyDeleteI would love to bring back Reunion fabric!
ReplyDeleteThanks...
Erin Michael's Lush.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get more Make Life by Sweetwater.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be able to find Meadowsweet still :) I look for the prints I never had a chance to get and they are no where to be found :) OR for more than a normal wallet can afford!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win! I would love to see some of the early 1930s repro fabrics run
ReplyDeleteagain~~some of the early Aunt Grace.
I'd bring back the first Laurel Burch cats fabric collection.
ReplyDeleteColor Play!! I would love to win!! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I've not been quilting long enough to know about discontinued fabric lines or collections. I'd still love to win your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI'd bring back Moda's Victorian Decadence collection. I bought a Layer cake online from the States, thinking I'd get started and buy more here in Aus as I needed it. It never appeared here! And now I need more!!
ReplyDeleteI would bring back the true flour sacks and the tea bag tags and packaging (I know the tags were papers but they were lovely). Also the cigarette wrappers - I think some of them were fabric. These were lovely and so fun.
ReplyDeleteChick-A-Dee Chick-A-Doo by Robert Kaufman!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
well, i haven't kept track of what i can't get anymore, but heather bailey is one of my favorites. anything of hers that's been discontinued should be brought back. :)
ReplyDeleteRiley Blake's All Star 2! I missed it and would love to have a HUGE stash for my boys!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletePure by Sweetwater. It was gone before I discoverd Sweetwater. Thanks for a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI started liking fabrics not long ago. I really liked the Heather Ross fabrics but clearly missed them.
ReplyDeleteHeather Ross Swimming Fish
ReplyDeleteI'm not very 'up' on fabric line names as I can't buy much fashion fabric over here but I pretty much love all I see!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the early Far, Far Away lines 1 & 2 released again! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOh man. I would bring back Mendocino Mermaids and buy the whole freaking collection... TWICE!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm too new to sewing to be familiar with any retired fabric collections (also I do most of my sewing with thrift store sheets!) One that came out awhile ago that I don't really see anymore but am totally in love with is Strawberry Fields.
ReplyDeleteThe original wizard of oz collection. My daughter loves the wiz and I have started a quilt but am having a hard time finding the fabrics from the original release.
ReplyDeleteI'd bring back Tula Pink's Full Moon Forest. Thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteI would bring back Simple Abundance. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI am having trouble at present rounding up fabric so I think I understand what you are saying! I would love to have access to a full quota of Fig Tree and Co's Folklorique! It is quite sad when fabric lines are all gone, it doesn't mean they are forgotten.

yeah... i'm new to quilting too so i don't really know much about past lines. but from the blogs and quilts i've seen on-line, i too am in love with Heather Ros's Mendocino line. i'm SO sad i didn't get into quilting earlier to get myself some of the gorgeousness.
ReplyDelete...le sigh...
I haven't been sewing for long enough to answer that but I do love Denyse Schmidt, Joel Dewberry and the Heather Ross prints are very cute so I'd say bring back all their old lines!!
