Hi Everyone,

So this morning as I was getting ready to head into the shop (literally in my undies) I realized that I missed posting on my 5 yr Blogiversary. I can't believe it has been five years since I quit my corporate job to stay home and home school my daughter.  Back in the day I did a lot of sewing... Here is my first post ... Uh oh... I just discovered that none of the pictures from August of 2009 show up anymore. All of the September ones are showing still. Look I was still a traditional girl then hehe.

I don't remember making this quilt... I wonder where it went... I wonder if I gave it to someone or if it is in the bottom of one of my piles somewhere... It was Nov 2009... look perfect points!

These two pictures are for all of my friends that know how much I love brown and batiks NOT!

We got some gorgeous fabric in this week...

Emma's Garden by Patty Sloniger The colors in this collection are so vibrant and juicy. I had to snag a bit up for a project I am working on... will be able to show it next week after it is gifted.

We also got Cherie by Frances Newcombe. I have been looking forward to this one. I love every single print in it. I will get better pictures this morning, but here is an arrival photo for you.

I am actually looking forward to getting to the shop this morning to spend some time with these lovelies.

Friday Giveaway and Play it Again sale...

Free or Discounted Shipping and a Giveaway

Hi Everyone,

I have been trying to figure out a way to give my international customers a little shipping cost relief without putting myself out of business. So this is what we are doing:

We are having free shipping in the US and discounted shipping internationally promotion. It will be calculated at checkout. This promotion is good through Friday the 8th of August.

If you buy 3 yds or more in the US, shipping is free. If you fill a flat rate envelope internationally, which is 8 yards or more, then shipping is half price.

 International kids... this means you can get up to 30 yds of fabric for $30 in shipping or 8 yds for ... $11.98, or 18 yards for 23.95 not bad right?

How about a little Giveaway? I thought you might like that :)
