Hey Everyone,
You have seen my posts here, here, and here about my Easypress 2 and how much fun it is to use it to make iron on projects. Well, Cricut has come up with these great tote bags that allow you to carry your Easypress and take it on the go to retreats, classes, or crafting with friends.
You can take your Easypress 2, Safety Base, Mat, and small tools with you in one bag. The bag is heat resistant so even if you have to pack up fast you don't have to worry about putting your hot press in the bag . The bag is cushioned all the way around so the Easypress won't get beat up while you travel. The fabric is really durable too. It has a really strong shoulder strap and a soft cushy handle with which to carry it.
As you can see there is a velcro strap inside to keep the press from moving around.
There are three sizes of tote to match the three sizes of Easypress 2.
There is a front zipper pocket on each tote and a back pocket with a magnetic closer. Each back pocket is slightly different. On the small tote it is more of a slip pocket, on the medium tote it is pleated and the large tote (as you see below) is pleated snapped and zippered so that you can open it all the way out and include lots of stuff or keep it zipped and compact.
One thing to know is that even though the original Easypress is the same size as the medium Easypress 2 it doesn't fit in the medium bag because the safety base is wider on the original...
But it fits great in the large tote :)
Here is a simple guide:
Tote Compatibility
Small - Cricut EasyPress 2, 6" x 7"
Medium - Cricut EasyPress 2, 9" x 9"
Large - Cricut EasyPress 2, 10" x 12" and Cricut EasyPress, 9" x 9"
I can't wait to take my Easypress with me everywhere. Have I mentioned how flat it makes quilt blocks? Seriously!
