Fabulous Fabric Friday Giveaway... and how not to be a no-reply on Blogger

Hey Everyone,

Back a month or two ago when I hit my 1000th blog post I did a fabulous giveaway for this bundle of my favorite C+S prints including canvas...

The problem is.. the woman who won was no-reply I did my best to find her but to no avail. So the bundle still sits here waiting to go to a happy home. Good luck for you all ... bad luck for the original winner. I am giving this away... again :)

If you have entered a lot of giveaways and never won perhaps it is because you are not contactable... if you want to make it easier for us to contact you here is how to do it.

1. Go into blogger on the top right, above the list of blogs next to the line that says English (United States) there is a thing that looks like a gear ... click it
2. Click Connect to Google+ (we won't do that part but this is where you need to go) then on the left there should be your blogger profile. Click view my complete profile
3. On top right click Edit my Profile
4. The second line says Show my Email tick the box
5. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click the Save Profile

Leave a comment below telling me where you go first to find new information about fabric collections that are coming out. Giveaway runs until next Friday  7/24/15 at Midnight.

    I, too, get lots of newsletters from blogs, and read tons of blogs through my Feedly and other venues, so I always see the new stuff ahead of time that way.

    I get a lot from blogs if my favorite designers as well as online fabric store pre-order pages. I'm always excited about what's "coming soon".

    This is a gorgeous bundle! I follow a lot of blogs and follow several quilt shops on Instagram...I rely on them to tell me about new lines coming out.

    I don't keep up very well on what is new coming soon. I do read Hawthorne Threads weekly and they always have new fabrics.

    Usually the first glimpse comes in an advertisement in a magazine. However, since I've subscribed to several blogs, I'm now seeing fabric line previews on these blogs. It's a world full of inspiration!! Thanks for a chance in the giveaway.

    For Moda fabrics, I go to their website and look up "future groups"...for everything else, I will look in the "coming soon" sections of shops, along with shop newsletters...and of course Market recaps get things on my radar to begin with too. This is an amazing bundle! Thanks for the chance, again!

    I follow most of the fabric companies blogs as well as my favorite designers and previews are usually posted there - sometimes so far ahead of time the wait is hardly tolerable!

    I get e-mails from some of my favorite shops (including yours) and via bloglovin. I spend about 2 hours every AM on the computer - I have a friend who has a shop in AK and she has no time so I alert her when a good line is coming out - works for both of us.

    I get information on new fabrics from emails or blogs from my favorite places to buy fabric. Lately I've been doing more blog surfing and seeing even more info there. I just checked my google+ account to make sure I'm not a no-reply. Would love to win that beautiful stack.

    Actually, I get updates from my very with it DIL, Melissa. Also when I tag along to Market and see what's coming. I probably miss a few, we do have some different tastes but I also rely on collection posts like yours. Thanks.

    Some of the fabric companies have pages with their new lines that will be coming out. Others are the designers pages. I try and write down the ones that I want to see when they are released.

    That's a bummer for the original winner. :( I usually browse blogs and Instagram before, during, and right after quilt market to get acquainted with the new collections.     I get so many newsletters from quilt shops and have 2 amazing ones in our area and then all my wonderful blog friends, so I never have to leave home to find new fabrics! As a blogger that does giveaways I feel your frustration with no-replies. Sadly, I no longer add them to the giveaway as I post they need to leave a way for me to contact them. As you stated, we spend a lot of time trying to find these winners and never do!

    Online shops likes yours are great sources, as are updates from Quilt Market (via blogs) and newsletters from the fabric companies themselves. Some make it very fun--I think Moda does it very well.

    I see what everyone else has bought on IG. I don't buy fabric often (darn budgets!), so rather than window shopping, I appreciate my friends' purchases.

    If I'm bored, or everyone is on a fabric diet, I might check out Fat Quarter Shop's coming soon section, but that's usually only like the first two weeks of January. ;)

    I read a lot of blogs, magazines, get emails, etc. I love imagining my next project from upcoming collections. If I spent as much time sewing as I do reading, imagining, and dreaming about quilting, I'd have no stash!!!!!

    I am happy that you include directions for Google setup but honestly this didn't apply to my version at all. I'm hoping mine is set up right.     Like so many others, I go to the blogs and read the email newsletters from the retailers.

    Julie, Art Gallery has become my favorite so I often go straight to their site, and since you carry many of their prints (Wanderer, Wild and Free ) I always read your blog first too:)

    Third time is a charm. I keep trying to post my comment so hopefully it will work this time around. I subscribe to the fabric manufacturer blogs and newsletter, quilting blogs and regularly visit my LQS to see the new fabric offerings. Even with all of this info, it can still be difficult to keep up with what's new.

    Even if you are giving this fabric bundle away for the second time, it will still be a welcome surprise to whomever wins it. No matter how many times you need to give it away. LOL

    I tend to follow a lot of my favorite designer's on social media so I know what their upcoming collections will be. Then it's easy to do a search and find out which shops are offering it for sale. Many of the designers will even list the shops that offer their fabrics also.

    I read blogs about market and look at the photos that are taken by the bloggers. Also, the bloggers I follow are always making quilts or other sewing projects with new fabric collections, so I get to see more of the fabric then, too.
