Hi Everyone,
Thank you for all the good wishes for my vacation... If you didn't know I was on vacation for 11 days to beautiful Alberta, Canada... okay I have to admit the drive up and back was incredibly beautiful too. We went through Northern California, Central Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and British Columbia. I got my pine tree and river fix. My daughter, Erin, tried every burger between here and there and declares Bob's Burgers and Brews in Kennewick, WA the winner for best burger in the West. If you like a good Fish and Chips I say try Brother Jon's Alehouse in Bend, Oregon.
This is Bonner's Ferry, Idaho.
We like it so much there that we are considering retiring there :)
We had a huge shop hop in the middle of June and I sewed a couple samples. I fell in love with these little purse frames called Jelly Clips and bought every color and every size. The clip comes with a pattern, so for the cost of an average pattern you get the cute little frame and the pattern. They are so easy to make you can finish one in less than an hour. These are two I have made so far... I know there are more to come :)

You got a pre-view with the first little purse... that is Sodalicious by Emily Herrick
Isn't it fun... it reminds me of Fruit Stripe Gum (who remembers?)
Joy and Wonder by Cori Dantini is here... I fell in love with these Christmas Mice (my mom loved Christmas Mice)
Curiosities by Jeni Baker is so adorable.... my friend Jen is making Elizabeth's Bunny Quilt for us out of it... bunnies from bunnies :)
These are beautiful and bright the pictures just came out a little dark
Then we got Erin McMorris' wonderful Highline... I picked my favorite colors in this one... can't wait to make some pretty bright quilts for the walls in the shop.
Hope you like the new stuff :)
We are giving away the Sweet Finds colorway of Curiosities on Maureen's Blog this week. So head on over to enter to win.
Last but not least my Quilty Godson is coming to town ... it is true Molli Sparkles will be in the house on the 24th of July. If you are local and would like to have a close up and personal look at his gorgeous Modern T-shirt quilt then come on down. He is going to have a little talk about how he decided what blocks and fabrics to use to compliment the T-shirts:
Hope you have a lovely weekend :) I am off to my happy place (work)!
