No way! The last Happy Monday of 2012!

Hi Everyone,

Wow, I can't believe it is the end of this crazy year! Believe me when I woke up on 1/1/2012 I never thought I would have a Brick and Mortar shop by the end of the year. It was the furthest thing from my mind. I am still wondering if I am insane to be doing this.

It was a sad year here at the end with all of the tragedies. I hope that everyone had at least one bright spot this year and I pray next year will be the best one ever.

Friday Fun Day and the Giveaway

Hi Everyone,

Do you know I didn't go Christmas shopping until last night? The shop really is taking my whole day and night right now. So after work (about 6:15) I went shopping and got home about 8:30 and had dinner and went to bed LOL Thankfully the kids want stuff I could get online and I only had the hubby and stockings to buy for :)

I have Alchemy Voile in and I have been wanting to make myself something with it. I was so excited to see this tutorial this morning from Anna at Noodlehead ... I have made myself jammie pants before but this is so much easier. I can't wait to make some for me :)

Eep... where did the week go?

Hi Everyone,

I promise pics of the (open) shop tomorrow. I took some, but left the camara there last night. So in lew of that... how about some pictures from "The Fearless Fabric Fiends" ?

This is an adorable little swap bundle that my sweet friend Adrianne made for my other sweet friend Annemarie. I wish I was as brilliant as her... so gorgeous!

This awesome Bento Box quilt is by my very own Mallory ... I get to call her that because she is helping in the shop on the weekends as her real job allows :)

My friend Lindsey made this from Utterly Inspired by Maureen I think this was a half yard bundle though.

Yippee! My favorite color is the color of the year for 2013! Emerald....

I love Emerald green. It is the color of my eyes. It's true! (you see people are going to argue that I have blue eyes but I promise they are green... wait until you see me wear green then you will know) It is always so hard to find clothes in that color unless they have reindeer or Christmas trees on them (not a good look for spring :) ). So bring on the green baby!

Salt Water is coming today and tomorrow Amy Butler's Alchemy, Alchemy Voile, some of Ty Penningtons new Impressions (I only bought the gorgeous blues), Ostara from Dear Stella, and the Free Spirit Designer solids that match Salt Water will be here. I am kitting up all of Tula Pink's free patterns.

I better get to work.

Don't ya love 'em? When I first came back to quilting a couple years ago I used to save every free pattern I came across ... obviously I can't do that any more.

As you all know I have some super amazing friends in The Quilted Fish's Design Team and even though I am too busy to join them on their adventures anymore that doesn't mean I don't want to toot their horns still.

Happy Birthday To Me... and Happy Monday

Hi Everyone,

Yep, it's my birthday I am mumble mumble years old today. So what does my awesome birthday have in store... first I have to get dressed then I have to fight my way through traffic to the dr. office so I can get my wound checked out. If you haven't seen the facebook page I had a little accident with a certain sharp object on Saturday. Then I need to get to work becuase I still have at least 40 orders to get out from Friday. I guess that is what I get for having a b-day on Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend :) But at least one day this week I am going to take a break and go shopping. I need clothes bad.
