Ladies! I will be emailing in a moment. To be fair the package will be random so you get a surprise when they arrive. Thanks to everyone that entered. I love all of your encouraging comments you are the best group on the net. By the way stay tuned lots of super fun stuff coming in the next month or two :)

I got a package from The Quilted Fish yesterday her new fabric line Delighted is shipping and she sent me my play fabric,. I got a FQ bundle of Delighted so I took a picture of it:

Then I tore into it and started ironing...

Then I laid it out lovingly....Le Sigh! So pretty!

The yardage for the shop will be here on Tuesday! I can't wait... I am literally bouncing up and down with excitement.

Little Apples will me here this week as well.... and a little birdie told me that Terrain is not far behind. Oh the joy!

In the shop this weekend... I just marked 1001 Peeps and Wrenly down to $6.99 a yard just a few yards left of each and I need the shelf space. I also marked Prince Charming, Alphabet Soup and Hoo's In The Forest down to 50% off... getting low on those but they just need to clear out as well. So much new stuff coming this week that I won't have room for otherwise.

First up The Hostess Half Dozen is being hosted by my friend Stephanie. Stephanie is one of the girls on The Quilted Fish's Creative Consultant team with me. She has a great blog and is hosting a QAL at the moment for The Little Forest quilt. You know the one... the little tree quilt from Purl Bee. I promise even if you don't know that you have seen it ... you have. So on with the show here is what Stephanie picked for you guys:

Six FQs from the red and pink colorways of Taza. I love these so much! I always say that don't I? Looks like she doesn't quite have her post up yet but head over there a little later to enter.

The Second giveaway is hosted by Lynn at The Alamosa Quilter it is a gift certificate for $20 to my shop.

1- 3" X 11 1/2" from second Dark Exterior Fabric (this will be the bottom strip on the outside)

1- 7" X 4" from Light Exterior Fabric
1- 1 1/4" X 4" from Light Exterior Fabric (this is the binding for the vinyl title window)

If you decide not to put the title window in, you can just cut a 4" X 11 1/2" piece of the light center fabric and skip the 4 pieces above.

Optional Pockets--I didn't think of this when I wrote the supply list but you only need an extra piece of light to medium weight interfacing 3 1/2" X 5 1/2" you should have plenty left of your interior fat quarter to cut the pockets. I will go back and fix the supply list.

1- 6" X 15" Interior Fabric
1- 6" X 7" Interior Fabric

2- 4 3/4" X 7 1/4" Peltex or Timtex (this is heavy structural stuff very stiff)

Friday Fun Day... that means giveaway too

Friday, June 10, 2011
HI Everyone,

Would you care for a spot of tea? Jackie has outdone herself with this adorable fabric tea cup and saucer. Go take a look at her tutorial over at The Quilted Fish Blog and you can make one for yourself. I was thinking how cute it would be to hold little girl's hair ties.

I have been waiting not so patiently for 1001 Peeps to arrive and low and behold it came last night and brought a friend. So 1001 Peeps and Dazzle are both in the shop this morning. As soon as it gets light out here I will get some IRL pictures for the listings. But for now:

Aren't they super? Here are the two free patterns for these collections (I have seen both in person and they are so sweet):

1001 Peeps PDF

Dazzle PDF

I would, of course, be happy to kit these up for you.

On to the Giveaway.... hmmm what should I give away? How about a fat quarter bundle from any colorway you choose from either line? Okay that is a good one. Here's the rules:

1. Leave a comment any comment. Please leave only one comment. Please leave a way to reach you if you are a no-reply blogger.

I think that was pretty easy :) This one ends next Friday 6/17 at midnight (we will have a surprise winner announcer on Saturday).

I have other things coming from 1001 Peeps to give away but they haven't arrived yet so we will have to wait a little for those.

Have a super Friday!

Talk soon....

Better late than never, kinda... last day for giveaway...

Monday, June 6, 2011
Hi Everyone,

I had another sleepless night so I didn't get myself together to do a post until now. I don't have a lot to say other than look how stinkin' big the central motif on Summer Totem  is:

25 gorgeous inches... wow!

LouLouThi hit the shop on Friday night and Hoo's in the Forest will be here today... and if the manufacturer didn't pull my leg Dazzle and 1001 Peeps should be her this week-ish also.

Today is the last day to enter the giveaway from last Monday for the Lola's Posies so make sure you put your name in.

Talk soon :)

On to quilting already...

Thursday, June 2, 2011
Hi Everyone,

I hope you don't hate me for this not so naturally lighted picture. It rained cats and dogs yesterday. I am in California we are supposed to have the nice weather. No tornadoes in my neck of the woods though, so I won't complain. I only had about an hour's worth of work left to do on this quilt so I went ahead and finished it last night. I think it will be so adorable all quilted up and bound in... red? or green? And who gets it for a Christmas present?

This is a pattern by the girls over at Quilt Story. I met them at market and snatched some patterns. Let me know if you want me to kit it up for you. I love these fabrics. I mean I really love them. They are vibrant and the prints are so delicious.

My quilting frame has been my packing and shipping platform so I guess I better get everything moved off of there so I can get this thing quilted huh?

LouLouThi will be in tomorrow woot! Then Dazzle, 1001 Peeps and Hoo's In The Forest early next week. I can't wait it will be raining fabric over here (instead of the wet stuff :) ).

Talk soon!
