Thursday, July 30, 2015
Yeah... we have received some gorgeous fabrics in the last day...

Alison Glass' much anticipated Handcrafted 2 is here:

We got some of the prints that we had ordered from Kokka of Nani Iro, Echino and Ellen Luckett Baker

Our latest from Art Gallery Fabrics is Sharon Holland's Sketchbook... I love botanical prints... especially leaves.

I also got word that Tula Pink's Widebacks called Free Fall are on their way so I will have those up for pre-order tonight. In the mean time here is a pre-order page for Eden her collection that is coming in September. I think my favorite is the Elephant!

See ya soon!

Happy Monday Everyone!

I decided to put a pre-order for 5 new collections that are coming.... You all seem to like to make sure you don't miss something. These are the 5 collections that you all mentioned most in your comments from our 1000th post Giveaway... and luckily they were all ordered and in the works already... SCORE!

Just a reminder about pre-orders. You need to order each collection separately and all separately from regular orders as well. They come at different times and this allows me to keep better track of them. Thanks for your help :)

These are not in chronological order :)

First of all we have Tula Pink's True Colors which is arriving in early May:

Alison Glass' Ex Libris Arriving in late April

And three from Lizzy House. Arriving in Late April Mini Pearl Bracelets

Butterflies... this has already been shipped so it should be in by the end of the week:

And Natural History due in May.

Don't Forget we still have these Cotton + Steel Collections for Pre-order as well:

We had a bit of a Fabric Avalanche on Friday but we were smack dab in the middle of a Shop Hop and I didn't get a chance to show you. I am so tired from the shop hop but it was fun!

Here are the pretties!

Mormor by Lotta Jansdotter I adore the bright but sophisticated colors in this. I find them so easy on the eyes and easy to use. See below for a picture from a customer...

Our customer Lucy was in on the first day of the Shop Hop and she bought some Pearl Bracelets, Mochi Dots and some Mormor... she made this adorable bag by Friday to use on the rest of her hop.

Sylvia Lotta's other collection is also here. I am having a good time with those Suvi sprouts :)

We have Petal Pinwheels Tile Pile prints. I ordered the whole collection but these came first so I made fun little bundles out of them. This is the collection that the Modern Quilt Guild is doing a challenge with.

And last but not least Atomic Tabbys I fell in love with the mid-century vibe of these and couldn't resist them...

I think my new favorite basic is that tiny guitar pick print.

Wednesday this arrives... Foxfield by Tula Pink.... so stay tuned.

Friday Fun Day and The Giveaway

Friday, July 13, 2012
Hi Everyone,

It is that most awesome day of the week when we start dreaming of the weekend :) Today we are sponsoring a giveaway over at Maureen's Blog so you need to head on over to get your self some of this:

Amy Butler's latest Cameo... It is so gorgeous... love love! It is coming to the shop today ... Can't Wait. Also The Birds and The Bees, Pagoda Lullaby, and Cameo Voile (can't wait to make some new summer blouses with this).

I am hoping to tour a couple places for possible shops today or tomorrow. Will let you know how that goes :)

Tuesday Time...

Tuesday, May 22, 2012
Hi Everyone,

More pic spam and some new stuff in the shop...

Miss Tula Pink with a glimpse of The Birds and Bees in the background
Then some Nightshade quilts from her booth:

Wish I could show you the quilting on this one close up.

Miss Valori in her booth with Cocoon

Lucy's Crab Shack Fat Quarter Bundles are here. There are only a few but there will be more posted after the yardage comes in. There are also Vintage Modern Charm packs back.

See ya tomorrow with another drive by spam attack :)

Nightshade is here...

Tuesday, May 15, 2012
Hi Everyone...

Nightshade is here... all I can say is them some big ladies! I have to warn you if you get a fat quarter bundle you most likely won't get a whole frame... maybe a face but probably not a whole frame. They are 13" tall. I would have to waste a lot of fabric to fussy cut a whole frame for each fat quarter or half yard. The way they are set on the fabric if I cute straight across at the top of one frame I cut the bottom off of the next one.

That being said... they are so fun! The selvages have skulls and crossbones on them.

The Newsletter normally comes out on the 15th but I have decided to puch it back until we all are back from Market. So there should be some fun pictures and news in it :) Don't forget to sign up if you haven't already.

Happy Market Week Monday!

Monday, May 14, 2012
Hi Everyone,

I can't believe just two days left before I have to get up and get on a plane. I only have Tuesday to get any errands done because I have to finish up the sale stuff today. Adrianne and I are going to try to do a bit of blogging while we are there so we might hit the 500th post before I get back :)

Alpine Wonderland is here. I posted it in the shop over the weekend but didn't have a chance to get pictures for the bundles until yesterday.

Isn't it the cutest? I will have the bundles listed in the shop in a little while. Just a warning though I won't be able to ship until I get back from Market. I just won't have time to get it cut and shipped before I go.

My friend Ruth from the BAMQG told me I needed to take a picture of my front hallway to prove that you really can't walk in there and therefore I need to have sales to reduce my inventory. You see she has been here and knows it is true. I always forget... so here it is after I did some creative shifting and before the sale this weekend:

As you can see there is just a small walkway to get into the shop room here and you kind of had to turn sideways to get to the rest of the house :)

And here it is after the sale. Yay so tidy and organized. And this is even after another collection came in. This is just the overflow area by the way I also have a wall of shelves and 6 more boxes in the shop room.

Now you get to see the less tidy ... erm hurricane hit (sale) shop room... because I want you to see just some of the packages that are going out today. (I still have a bit more to cut and pack up)

Thank you to Jennifer D. for coming over yesterday to help me wrap and pack. (those are my personal stash shelves :) )The other side of the room has 8' tall shelves almost wall to wall.

Rhapsodia bundles sold out in the sale but it has already been re-ordered as have the fabrics in Maureen's bundle from Friday so if you are looking for those they will be back when I get back from Market. Nightshade will be here today.... I think :) I also think Wrenly Christmas will be here by the end of the week. Lots of fun stuff coming.

See ya soon :)

Friday Fun Day... It must be Giveaway day again :)

Friday, December 2, 2011
H Everyone,

There will be lots of fun giveaways going on this month all over but I am hosting my own this week instead of sending you to one of the other blogs I sponsor... I do that sometimes :) I wanted to show you what I made in my free time from 2 AM to 6 AM yesterday morning :)

I made this little zip bag for my Twitter Secret Santa Partner. I wasn't really trying to make diamonds, just something more interesting than a 9 patch. I kinda like how they have an illusion of floating or bobbing like buoys. She loves Tula Pink and got in late on the craze for Neptune so I am stuffing it with some Neptune, Parisville, and Hushabye Fat Quarters too.

Since Petal Pushers came in yesterday I thought I would give away my Sample Spree Fat Quarters

That's quite a few fat quarters :) I am gonna make you work for it. Poor you, you have to go look at fabric :) Since I spent hours working on the coming soon page on my website I want someone to see it. So to enter the giveaway go over and take a look at the coming soon page and in the comment let me know what you like best and are most looking forward to. The giveaway goes until next Friday the 9th of December at midnight.

Talk soon! If I don't see ya again... have a lovely weekend :)

Monday, Monday....

Monday, November 28, 2011
Hi Everyone!

Oh my goodness! I am sorry I have been so quiet the last week... Today starts the 4th and last day of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale and I have spent the last 3 days,  literally (I promise I am not exaggerating) 15 hrs a day cutting and wrapping. Even on my Birthday... eeps! I also updated my coming soon page on the website so go take a look at all of the awesome that is coming. I took a moment this morning to take a couple pictures (in the dark... excuse the quality).

Some Sunni loves me ... because she sent me this adorable notebook for my birthday. Wasn't that sweet of her? She covered it in some of the solids I sent her and some Hometown. It is so adorable! Reminds me of a sunrise ... le sigh...

After all of this crazy busy I am taking Wednesday off to sew some cute outfits for this adorable girl. Her name is Nezumi (means mouse) 'cause she has silver hair (my daughter named her). She was my birthday pressie from the best Hubby ever! (I am part of a Yahoo group called Creepy Old Ladies That Play With Dolls LOL) But I am not that old... for all of you that were guessing my age I am not 50 and I am not 25 but I am closer to the former than the latter :)

I will also be whipping up a little Sumthin' Sumthin' for my Twitter Secret Santa partner with this here Neptune. (I mean really ... just use it already) LOL She is a die hard Tula Pink fan.

Back to the cutting table. Don't miss the great deals on Delighted, Little Apples and Terrain... with the extra 20% off you are getting them basically at wholesale...

Have a super Monday!

Market Re-hash...better late than never...

Tuesday, June 21, 2011
Hi Everyone,

Just when you thought you had seen the last of the Market posts... I was so crazy busy when I got home from Market I didn't have time to go through all of my pictures and find the two or three that weren't blurry... but I finally did... So here is a quicky...

This is Amanda's booth on Wednesday when we were helping set up. I think I did a lot of standing around because I am not good with organizing... it isn't an excuse it is a handicap.

I posted briefly about Pat's but here are the girls with our hilarious waitress. I love you Sally and Amanda. Pat's is famous it was on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" and it is amazing food!

This is Riley Blake's booth they won for best double booth at the show. It really was adorable.

Here are Sally and Deanna (aka Killerella) talking to Jennifer Paganelli (BTW if you didn't know she is so sweet and gracious).

We kidnapped Eliot (he is Amanda's market mascot) and he was seen with some of his old friends, being a famous long arm quilter himself of course. (Yes, that is my hand in the video and my silly laugh in the background)
With Amy Butler

With Miss Tula Pink

With Valori Wells (Wrenly will be in the shop Monday evening woot woot)

Last night I put some awesome patterns that I bought at market in the shop as well as some adorable buttons that I got from Riley Blake. Wednesday Alphabet Soup will be here and next Monday as mentioned before Wrenly will be here. I am so excited because tons of fabric is coming in the next couple weeks.
