Lucky you - attending quilt market - I would love to win some Delighted and / or a pin cushion kit. The bottle cap idea is amazing for a pin cushion. Thanks for the giveaway. Oh! returned to look at the solids - they are lovely. Sometimes solids are loosely woven, so knowing these have a silky feel is a plus.

How about a tutorial on a fabric basket cube? Thanks for the giveaway. I'd love some Wrenly.

Congrats Tamie I will be emailing you in a moment for your particulars :)

So excited to tell you about a new line that I just ordered (will have it on the coming soon page by Sunday night) it is called Echo it is by Lotta Jansdotter I saw it on Ashley at Film In The Fridge's (seriously go look at her pictures) blog a week or two ago and just fell in love with it. The preview pics don't do it justice at all (that is why you have to go look at Ashley's) but here are a few of them:

So cannot wait for it to come in November... le sigh.

I have a new friend her name is Rae and she and her mother own a little company called ARMOMMY you can find them here. They have some super fun patterns and accessories. Here are just a few:

They are allowing me to give away a 20% off coupon in my next newsletter (you also get it if you make a purchase with me) So sweet of them. In the mean time go over and like them on Facebook (tell them I sent you) for a free tutorial download of this:

Fun fun stuff!

Hi Everyone,

I know I said I was taking a break from the blog this weekend but you didn't think I meant I wasn't posting the winner did you? That would be cruel. First of all I want to say thank you to everyone I loved all of the quotes. I know it wasn't an easy task but I appreciate you all trying and I loved the home made ones as well as the famous ones. You all are the best and I am so blessed to have you!

A winner, 69 new fabrics....and a Pinnie

Saturday, July 23, 2011
Hi Everyone,

Heirloom and Pernilla's Journey came yesterday:
This picture cannot convey the total invasion... I have 1/3rd more fabric than I had before it came. Heirloom is way more gorgeous then even I expected it to be and Pernilla's Journey has detail...oh so amazing...

My new friend Jennifer is a huge Joel Dewberry fanatic and she couldn't wait another second to come over and make her hand picked selections... she was so sweet and brought me this adorable new Pinnie:

She made it out of felted sweaters and even put purple pins in it... it matches my logo... so sweet!

Okay I know all you really wanted to know what who won the giveaway:

Oh, my Lord! I can't believe what you had to endure! I'm SO glad yours turned into a happy story because, after all, happiness is the best revenge. But still, there must have been some days ... oh my! Talk about stress. I'm glad those days are over for you.

I seem to be especially smitten with Taza by Dena Designs for Free Spirit Fabrics. July! That's NOW!

I will be emailing Heather... I also promise never to tell my life story in a giveaway post again... LOL I really was not looking for sympathy I am so happy now and way better off than I would have been had this all not happened. I love my life and it is amazing and wonderful and all I do is count my blessings now... no sadness on my behalf please!

Flora & Summerhouse please! As much as I love the Ruby line I don't think it works well with what you have already. LOVE the Robin egg blue in Summerhouse. YUMMY!

I didn't read every single comment, but since I don't have a quilting program, I had to click on the green scissors (instead of the blue ones). Anyway, I am swayed by my color preferences, so I will just state my opinion - Ruby for sure, and Summer House. I do not like Flora (I'm sure there are many who would, though). Hope these comments help you out, chickie. You're doing a great job at keeping us informed on whats out there!

Sorry to everyone that had to figure out it was the Green scissors not the blue ones (on my monitor they look almost the same) And as to the comments. I picked Flora (sorry Caren) I feel that you will have lots and lots of places to get Ruby though, so I am sure that you won't be deprived :) You both will be receiving a 5" double charm pack of Terrain. I will email you both in a moment. If you don't hear from me please email me.

Here are my latest two blocks for the FWQAL. I think I could have gotten more contrast on #5 but, oh well, I like it anyway...

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and get some sewing done :)

More fun with Terrain, Christmas In July Coupon, Little Apples Winner

Saturday, July 9, 2011
Hi Everyone,

Here is a coupon for 20% off anything in the shop for Christmas in July since my prices are already more than 10% below retail that is a pretty hefty discount (yardage for $6.60 or less). You have to hurry though because it only lasts until Midnight on Monday July 11. XMAS20

I took apart the fat quarter pack of Terrain last night and I thought you guys might like to see how I plan on splitting up the colorways for my smaller fat quarter and half yard packs. I also thought, for anyone that hasn't seen the fabrics in person, you might like to see the scale of some of the prints. They are smaller than I expected from the preview photos in some cases.

Here is Blue:

Here is Green:

Here is Orange/ Pink:

And here is Purple/Pink:

I am totally in love with every fabric in this line...even the ones I wasn't sure about before I saw them in person.

Now for our winner of little Apples:

LOVE the prize! When I was a teenager I loved running around the neighborhood watching all of the fireworks shows with my friends! We also did sparklers in someone's driveway that Fourth, and watched the big fireworks show from our deck. So much fun!
