Fabric Friday... in case you're wondering... Doe

Hi Everyone,

I know we are all impatiently waiting for Doe. I am right there with you (luckily I have a tiny bit to play with from Sample Spree). You might have seen bolts being shown around and wonder "why don't we have it yet?" ... for some reason it made it to Canada and UK distributors before it made it to the US. We will be one of the first shops to get it once it is here because Kaufman is in California so it gets here within 2 days for us. I promise it is coming... and I hate waiting more than anyone I know. :)

This week we got Ashton Road by Valori Wells I picked my favorites from this collection it is fun and playful. I love the border stripe of tree houses and the way it is printed you could get a yard and make two table runners just by cutting it down the middle. It is printed back to back so each side of the table would have the tree houses right side up... so brilliant!

I have been sewing this week. I can't wait to show you... hopefully I will have time to finish up some things this weekend.

Friday Fun Day... The Giveaway

Wow! There is so much going on in blog land. I wish I had more time to read everything. I only get to take a browse through every morning though. If you are signed up for the newsletter you got it last night. Can I just say it was almost a day late with the big weekend sale and everything I was so tired... But yay it is done. I hope you all enjoy those sweet projects! If you missed it, or missed signing up, let me know I will forward it to you.

In the Newsletter I said that Butterflies are the new Birds and what I meant was... there are so many fabric lines coming out with butterflies on them this year. We already had Hello Pilgrim and this Friday Cocoon will be here:

I got to sew this weekend but it was for a super secret project that is yet to be revealed. Soon though very soon. It was urgent that I get it done, though, so that took up my Saturday.

Market Re-hash...better late than never...

Hi Everyone,

Just when you thought you had seen the last of the Market posts... I was so crazy busy when I got home from Market I didn't have time to go through all of my pictures and find the two or three that weren't blurry... but I finally did... So here is a quicky...

This is Amanda's booth on Wednesday when we were helping set up. I think I did a lot of standing around because I am not good with organizing... it isn't an excuse it is a handicap.

I posted briefly about Pat's but here are the girls with our hilarious waitress. I love you Sally and Amanda. Pat's is famous it was on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" and it is amazing food!

This is Riley Blake's booth they won for best double booth at the show. It really was adorable.

Here are Sally and Deanna (aka Killerella) talking to Jennifer Paganelli (BTW if you didn't know she is so sweet and gracious).

We kidnapped Eliot (he is Amanda's market mascot) and he was seen with some of his old friends, being a famous long arm quilter himself of course. (Yes, that is my hand in the video and my silly laugh in the background)

Last night I put some awesome patterns that I bought at market in the shop as well as some adorable buttons that I got from Riley Blake. Wednesday Alphabet Soup will be here and next Monday as mentioned before Wrenly will be here. I am so excited because tons of fabric is coming in the next couple weeks.
